Is this case small enough to be considered "carry on" luggage for flights, or is it too large?

This isn't something you'd want to bring with you on a plane. The 1510 is not a problem in my experience, but the 1610 is enormous and requires checking in!

Sony NEX FS700R and accessories are a perfect fit

Purchased for use with a Sony NEX FS700R camera. I was able to fit all of my camera equipment, including lenses and accessories, into this space perfectly. I didn't want to bring anything with me, so I didn't. Instead, I wanted a case large enough to lock up and travel with my gear (and weapons). I looked at other options but decided that the savings on a less expensive case were not worth the potential quality compromise. After all, I didn't scrimp on my equipment, so why would I put it in something inferior? If you don't care about how much you can fit in a carry-on, this is the way to go.

a lot of weight As you can see, I gave the 1610 a four-star rating because of the way it handles when the case is fully loaded! br>The handle to pull or push it bites into your hands, and be aware that you won't need the gym in the evening if you want to carry it up or down stairs (filled it up with around 30 kg max

This is where I keep my 5D Mark III and a few lenses. It's a fantastic case that's both durable and well-made. Friends of mine have been using 1610 cases without issue for YEARS. It's something I'd strongly advise you to try.
