Questions & Answers

What are their floatability characteristics? Does the t-bar work as a oar for a raft and can it be used as an oar for a boat So the grips can be threaded through an oar ring, they have to be easy to take on and off?

The oars that I bought for my grumman canoe were quite nice. It is impossible to sink them. It never occurred to me to try to remove the T handle, since I never had a reason to do so. Therefore, I am not able to assist you. Even so, they are extremely nice paddles. This heavy-duty construction can withstand the rigors of The non-profit sector These shafts are nonslip to ensure a solid There are a variety of sizes to choose from. In addition to purchasing two more, I am going to purchase two more for another canoe.

Which paddle size should I choose for my height? I am 6ft 5'inches tall. What size do you recommend ?

The house is quiet. You will need to sit in a canoe position with your bottom about 6" off the floor. Step up onto the floor and measure to where your nose is. In order to determine the correct length of the product, add this measurement to the blade length (usually 20") described on the product pages. The fit may be fine-tuned by In the case of bent tubing- In the case of shaft paddles, you must subtract 2" from the above length. You may need to add 2" to the paddle length if you are paddling from the stern (rear seat) or if the canoe is wider than the width of the paddle.

It's actually a GripTee handle, not a palm grip, that's shown on the picture of the "green" paddle. What is the description of the Tee handle on all of them?

I'm not sure if the paddles and pic are T's. The T appeals to me more as I can more easily get the lost paddle and hook “stuff”.

Besides the oar locks, this canoe has two sets of davits. A paddle of this size wouldn't work for rowing, doesn't it? If so, then it would require a different paddle?

I would like to see this. It was really made for things done as a team, whether it be a solo or a duo. It appears to be difficult to row a canoe with oar locks

Paddles are not something I am familiar with
5/5

The green ones are these. By making my canoe move, they make me happy. Their effectiveness has been proven. Handles are shaped like a T so you can palm them. No one has ever lost a shoe to me They have not been tested for use as weapons. As far as I can tell, this device is very versatile. I used it to retrieve a beer can that had gotten stuck on the ground.

Paddle that is the best on the market
5/5

Each summer we use these paddles a few times a month and they are much more comfortable than any other paddle we have In addition, they float well, and the T-shaped bottom is easy to clean These canoe paddles are lightweight and easy to handle, making them perfect for paddling. Aside from the shaft being covered, a hot summer day is easier to hold on to when wearing these. It is recommended that you buy the longer length if you are over six feet tall. Several watercraft paddles are manufactured by Carlisle, and they are hard to beat for the quality they offer at such a low price.

There is no doubt that this is a quality This product replaced a wooden one that I had broken, and I have been pleased with how quickly I was able to get used to it
5/5

It is hard to concentrate on the paddle, because you are enjoying Having a plastic handle means you don't have to worry about being cold or hot when you hold it, and it protects the aluminum from being scraped against the canoe by an inexperienced paddler.

It's a great paddle
4/5

I'm very happy with it. My use of the paddle was for an Eco-fest nearby Yesterday we went on a tour. Despite the weight, the handle is extremely real, as well as the handle being very light. A small burr existed at the joint where the handle and shaft meet, but it could easily be sanded away with a fine-grained.

The paddle is good and the price is great, which makes it my preferred paddle Paddling for my rafting trips is what I do here in the Mid Atlantic region
5/5

It has enough strength to handle rough waters (I took it down the Savage last year), it is light enough to not get tired while using it, and it is cheap enough that even if I lose it, it won't be a big deal. This is great for R2 or being in the front of a group Raft with a capacity of eight people. If you intend to guide, you should include something that is a bit longer or broader.

There are pads
3/5

It's okay for them to be pretty. It would be difficult for me to offer an expert opinion on paddles without knowing more about them. Their only downside is that they are Much lighter and cheaper ones that work just as well are available to me. It may even be good that the music is heavy. The inconvenient light (and cheaper) metal ones don't bother me as much unless I've already used them. The kids and I are going to a few creeks and lakes in the Hudson Valley area, and we are not going canoeing in any serious manner.

This paddle made it easy for me to paddle for an extended period of time even though I was a small person
5/5

I was quite surprised at how lightweight it was The paddles are quite durable, and I found them to be quite easy to use for an extended period of time. They did not fatigue as quickly as kayak paddles had, and I did not experience any fatigue. have been able to push off the rocks and all of the banks were.
