We make our paddle substantially lighter than recreational models (22 oz (624 g), so you can paddle for days at a time with little exhaustion. Which blade is longer, the long or the short one?

The widest part of it is seven inches across and then begins to taper at 15 inches. There are 24 inches from the tip of the handle to the bottom of the top. There is a total length of 54" to the paddle.

Paddles are clunky and cumbersome

The paddle is a dog for an experienced canoeist looking for his or her first solo trip. I find it hard to use, stiff, and clunky. It lacks the flexibility and feel of an appropriate solo flatwater paddle for one person. For the average recreational paddler, it is a fine tool, but in the long run there is no substitute. The diameter of the shaft may be irregular. We were disappointed with this item, but the process of returning it was too difficult.

My favorite part of the design is that it performed well. I really like how well made and pretty the paddle is. While willow canoeing by myself, I liked the design and found it to be very stable. There is one major drawback to the paddle as it is There is another paddle that is much lighter and more graceful than my 20 year old one. With the old one in my hands, I feel like I'm holding a wand while with Bending Branches, I feel like I'm holding.

Can it possibly be the real deal? This paddle would have received a 5 star rating except it's not clear if it is an actual Bending Branches model or a knock-off There are offsets

On the Bending Branches website, "Made in USA" is prominently displayed on the decal of this model This does not apply to these. We have no authorized resellers in that part of the country and the sender was located somewhere in Kentucky.

Paddle made from good materials. It is comfortable, light, and easy to care for. My rockguard barely even shows any signs of damage from the multiple rock checks and accidental scrapes on the bottom so far. I ordered a second one to have as.

This wooden paddle is really nice

With the comfortable hand grip and good design, this paddle can be used for an extended period of time. An extra layer of paint has been applied to the blade to protect it from being pushed The damage will be off-set at best by the warranty, but I am unsure how well that will stand There is a lot of craftsmanship in the paddle, as well as a great finish. The two of them have now been delivered!.
