Having bought a cheap skateboard from the local box store, I ridden it around the block for no more than five minutes before deciding I needed a different board. As I'm not looking to do tricks or stunts, I am just searching for a board that will take me on cruises. Considering how reasonable they are for a set of wheels and bearings, they are decent. Granted, I don't skate, but I would tell them that. In fact, I tried joining it a few years back and it didn't work out for me. As described in the It has 7 smooth bearings that never bind up. The interface may even be a bit too smooth for my use case, but I can live with that. While the bushings are soft, the bushings are not strong enough for my use. It is still very easy for the trucks to turn with weight on them, even with the nut all the way tightened. The design of this might be on purpose, I have no idea. I did not think this chair could turn that easily when you shift your weight, though I know swivel seats are supposed to be able to turn when you shift your weight- My board may not be the same size as a skateboard/longboard, so this may not be accurate. But that's no big deal (I ordered some 100a bushings), just something to keep in mind if you intend to use these on a skateboard. Overall, I'd say there's some good options out there if you are looking for some cheap trucks or wheels, or if you are a young skater who is.

A nice replacement for the old wheels and trucks

A while ago, I bought two old skateboards for very little money, which I've used hard for quite some time. Using this kit, I replaced the trucks and wheels on both boards and now have 2 free-running boards that ride smoothly, and seem able to handle both street and sidewalk riding without spending a lot. Although, in the first set, I forgot the spacers as I didn't anticipate them being included in the bag with the screws and nuts, but unbolting the wheel nuts and popping out the outer bearings wasn't as onerous as I had anticipated. Bought the first set and was so happy with the results that I bought a second set and will be recommending these to other people looking to refurbish their old skateboards.

A cheap board can be transformed into a beach cruiser with soft wheels

You can turn any department store board into a beach cruiser with this set of soft wheels. My board skills are limited, as I am old and not capable of doing any tricks. To get from point A to point B faster, I just want to travel up and down the beach strand with a bit more speed. I'm really glad I bought it.
