The best wheel on the market is a Powell, and I've felt that way since the beginning of time. Has he been seen by you?.
I miss the days of solid polyurethane wheels from my youth when a wheel was a "solid chunk" of poly. This set of wheels by Powell Peralta offers a soft ride that reduces body fatigue and allows riders to glide more easily over pavement. When I make drastic turns or carve, I put risers at the bottom of the front of my trucks to avoid wheel bite.
Added them to a 40" split tail cruiser longboard with 1/8" risers and they are LOUD, ROUGH, and TONS OF FUN TO SLIDE! While I am still getting the hang of it, I think I will buy the exact same set of wheels again and again if they wear out. Though they are solid, I won't be able to wear them out until I'm a senior.
you are looking for classic wheels, you've come to the right place. The only ones you need are these.
It is important to note that these wheels are not "soft. " It doesn't matter what they say, listen to what they say. They are loud, they are mean. I think these skatepark/transition wheels are the best I've ever purchased, and I think they're very worthwhile. Risers are needed. Those are the ones you will need.
There is no comparison to these and they are well worth it. These were purchased for my Powell Peralta Ripper deck after the ones that came with it were of This is a great wheel and is definitely worth the money when compared to smaller, cheaper ones. I could use them for a retro board like Tony Hawk, Caballero, or Hosoi because they're fast and the right thickness.
My mind wanders back to 1989 when I saw them. The old school board works great with them, and I can power the board with them Do not worry if you fall again. Cracks and pebbles are absorbed by them, and they roll smoothly and with good traction.
Great color and wheels.
