Selected User Reviews For Spitfire Bighead Skateboard Wheels (48mm 50mm 51mm 52mm 53mm 54mm 57mm 59mm 63mm)

I liked the wheels, the price was good, and the shipping was fast
5/5

For starters, my #1 choice for skateboard wheels is Spitfire. The items have been in my collection for many years, but I had never purchased them on Amazon It doesn't get flat spots easily with these wheels and they last a long time for me. Despite their durability and smoothness, Spitfire wheels have always been popular among skaters. Those 48mm wheels are the first ones I have ever bought and I am in love with However, I have to say these wheels aren't ideal for travel over long distances or bumpy terrain. Skateboarding using these is intended for both the streets and the parks. The lightweight nature of smaller wheels is another reason why most freestyle skaters favor them. Since smaller wheels were very popular in the 90s and early 2000s while tech skating was very popular, I prefer them. I was impressed with the speed of the shipping, it took two days for my package to arrive, and the packaging was really good considering All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase, and I will buy these again, once my current wheels get old (which will take quite a while since these wheels last so long).

It has been approved by skaters

This wheel set is the right fit for my son (who purchased the wheels on my account). Rating them five stars is what he told me to do! He says that they are the softest wheels he has ever had, and that they are great for use off curbs and for dropping in softly at skate parks. If a skater 9 years old gives them 5 stars, then they deserve 5 stars too! The man said that he would happily spend his birthday money again on this same item!.

I love how well they work! I use the skatepark because its hardness is perfect for me
5/5

Wheels that are awesome! However, the hardness of the material is not a problem at all, and they perform well. They tend to be a bit smoother than originals, personally. There is a perfect tread, and the wheels are perfect on smooth concrete, especially when skating sideways or done on walls. While I have never used these wheels for street skating, I can see how they might be appropriate if used in that way in the future. The green and white color combination actually looks pretty good, even though my skateboard is black (and the wheels were originally black). It took me a bit to put two wheels together, but I am very happy with the end result. I also love that these wheels are American-made, which makes them better quality, and they came with Spitfire stickers (red), which look awesome under.

A new set of Koston Wheels! There is no such thing as a bad wheel on a Spitfire! Compared to most street wheels, these Bighead wheels are wide and a little softer
5/5

As a result, I am able to roll over more pebbles and cracks, and skate with more This is a great board for any skill level. However, it's especially good for beginners because of its softer ride. You feel.

Wheels that are great
5/5

This is the first time I have used the wheels. Spitfire wheels have always been my go-to wheels since I started skating in the late 90's. Because of life, I had not skated in 15 years, so I decided giving it another go was the right choice. As far as wheels go, Spitfire still holds the top spot. It has a good grip and is smooth and neat. They're great for skating on the street or in a park. The skaters I know are usually more than 200 pounds, so I'm not sure whether they will work for an individual that's lighter.

I gave 3 stars because I had a flat spot on the third day I skated them because I hit a pebble at a skatepark when I used them

These grip very well on the ramps, but are smooth enough to slide well.

These classics have a reason for being classics
5/5

The wheels are designed to be aggressively skated and are no frills wheels. This is the best hardness for street and park use. There is a slight width difference between these and Only one side of the bag has the graphic. When the tread wears down, they have a great natural feel and even take on a slightly yellow look, which in my opinion is not a bad thing. Here's the problem. There is a reason why classics are classics!.

It's a good deal for the wheels. for a while, they worked ok, however I ran into a rock and had to change the wheels due to wheel bite within about a month. it wasn't one of my favorite wheels to skate, however.
