After 30 years, the reissued bones are still smooth, quiet, and grippy just like the original. Those are the wheels you have to try first if you want to use your 10 inches wide reissue OG board. Go with the Rat Bones and you won't want to swap to any other wheel. With just one push, you'll experience all of it again the feel, sound, grip, and maybe most importantly, that SMILE. My Powell ripper with its bones wheels cost me a lot of money when I was a teenager. The wheels, with the super reds, have taken my vintage build to the next level and I'm so happy that I now can afford to do better than I imagined.
The wheels fit great, even though they are very wide and very large. They are so comfortable and make it easy to go over sidewalk cracks and There is only one drawback you will have to replace the letters. They are from a warehouse deal with missing letters and I've read other reviews with the same sentiment. There is nothing more to it than aesthetics, even if the wheels work. Here are a few pictures taken after a few days of riding.
Choosing these wheels was part of my desire to get into freestyle. You feel like you are riding on a tank when you use these! Do not get them if you think that is a bad thing (although I doubt this is exclusive to these freestyle wheels). For myself personally, I like In the past, I was unable to ride my bike around campus, but now I am able to do so only with a minimal amount of difficulty in sections where the pavement is particularly poor. Having a larger diameter instead of a smaller one allows the wheels to bite a lot easier, which means I had to tighten my trucks a lot. Although installing riser pads could improve the board's height, since the wheels also add height to it, I did not want to purchase any at the time (although I might get them.
First ride on these wheels made me go 25 mph down a small hill (insane speed, smooth, felt in control, and then I hit a speed bump, flew off, and I broke my knees and tore away some flesh before I got hurt. (My knee ached for a long time due to patellar bursitis). Those are the best wheels I have ever seen!.
When I was a kid I had a lot of these and these are the ones I have now The issues released 30 years after the original are every bit as fantastic as the originals. Those looking to get back into skating will not be disappointed with these wheels!.
It's great to have wheels like these! There are exact replicas of the wheels you used to ride on your old 10" skateboard deck which may not look like much by today's standards, but they are smooth as silk! I skate on very rough concrete in front of my house due to the harsh environment of Houston, and with my normal wheels (55mm, 101a), I feel like I'm riding on a cheese grater, but these wheels glide like butter. While the wheels are a little heavy, doing tricks under my board with them takes a little extra strength however, the way they float over rough ground makes up for the I wanted a wheel that would perform well on both the street and on the open road, and these wheels meet that need. The Bones wheels didn't disappoint since you can always count on them for an awesome ride.
There is no shredder on board, but the ride is smooth and fast. In my first session I was happy with the wheels, but in my second session, I went to bonk in the 6' bowl and the bearings shifted. The groove that holds the bearings fell During the session, my wheel locked up after I fell into the 6foot deep bowl with my wheel. I had to exit for the moment since I didn't have a backup.
It's not uncommon for me to ride cruisers, skateboards, and longboarding, even though I weigh 82kg. It may seem like an odd choice, but I've tried many different brands (sector 9, orangatang, abec11, bones, etc) and I find the Powell Peralta, 60mm, 85A, wheel (48mm width) A tyre should be soft enough to be quiet, smooth, and fast, as well as hard enough to be durable and slide down tarmac. Slides that are sweet and buttery This is a hard idea, and I think it will be noisy and hard. It is ideal for the wheel to be as wide as possible. The wheels are not too narrow or too wide, and are very stable at speed down tarmac roads, but don't get too wide when skating on flat i tried the 88a wheels in abec 11 noskoolz and they're a tad louder than these. this is great value for money. i highly recommend these wheels (60mm, 85A) for your project. These sets have been well worth the investment, so I've ordered more.
