It's difficult for me to figure out what shark wheels are. These wheels definitely have a lot of grip, but I wouldn't recommend them for street riding unless you are a beginner or have uneven roads. Otherwise, you will just gain more drag and feel less speedy while riding.
The wheels provide a lot more traction on wet surfaces than standard longboard wheels. However, they are still made of urethane, so they can slip/slide if the surface is wet/slick.
Sure, you can do that. As a matter of fact, I ordered a set of bone reds to go with these wheels, and they fit perfectly!
Without a doubt! The wheels work great on rough roads and cobblestones.
Selected User Reviews For MBS All-Terrain Longboard Wheels
Compared to a standard flat style wheel, it has marginally better traction on loose or rough pavement as well, but nothing that is Their description is as a group of all-stars A Urethane wheel might look like an all-terrain wheel, but in honesty, you'll have a hard time using this or any other wheel in a rough terrain Environmental impact of the road.
The contact patch is very small at first, but after some time it becomes more obvious. There is no contact between the wheel and the ground except for the middle stripe. However, after a week or two, it starts to break There is only one wheel softer than these that I've ridden and it is Sector Nine Butterballs 75a, which are 78a. With a diameter of 100mm, these are some of the biggest wheels we've seen Pavement is easy to maintain due to its smooth surface. The Editor's Note Everything is covered by these wheels Whenever I ride over trains at intersections, I can do so with ease. In addition to handling dirt, grass, and gravel that would stop a smaller wheel in its tracks, these wheels come in handy when it comes to handling road construction. If you would like to add some off-road to your mountain board, then this will do the trick Whether you are looking for a road board or a longboard for everyday use, these are tremendous. In most cases they will fit drop through decks, but if you are riding a pintail or anything with no cuts, you will need riser pads to prevent wheel bite. I personally use angled risers and rubber risers, and they work My reviews will be updated on May 19th, 2020, when I was speaking to a friend about these wheels. They will turn two tomorrow, so it's pretty funny. With Pintail setup I fractured my left arm a short time after writing that review Longboarders who bomb the steepest hill they will ever face with the longboard equivalent of a clown wearing stilts are apparently not a good idea. If you're a budding speed demon, learn from my mistakes and keep your set up low to the ground. Well, let me ask What do you think My relationship with them has outlasted any romantic one I've had. I put them through hell just for the love of them. That is what I mean by the wheels. With them I learned to drift, and I used them almost every day for two springs, two summers, and two fall seasons. In addition, I included a fourth photograph of them after two years of heavy use. Unlike the top reviewer, I don't know how they wore down their pair in three months, because mine are still going strong after two years. It has the biggest battle scar from one glass piece I rolled over months ago, but it has not affected performance in the slightest. A 33-foot Pantheon drop-in paired with a 30' Walla I make my favorite setup with a down style deck. This is the only con, isn't it? Describe your weight. MBS wheels have a major Achilles heel in their weight. In my set up, they make up the majority of the weight. Using my best guess, I would say the whole thing weighs about ten pounds with the wheels being maybe six pounds There are 7 of those. It will make you stronger because of these wheels There is no doubt in my mind about.
While the tread design looks cool, it functions okay in loose dirt and sand, is pretty good going downhill, but is slippery There is not much tread on the wheel, so you will have a bald strip down the center pretty quickly, causing you to lose traction and slide more often on your wheels. Although it doesn't have a lot of ground clearance, it can ride over many road debris. To illustrate the difference, I took a picture of a new wheel next to a bald one. The dirty wheels have been on my car for about 3 months now.
Wheels seem to be indestructible, I have to give them credit for They have made a difference to my budget electric skateboard these wheels were the most expensive part. I use the board to commute from my home to the university, and the wheels have helped smooth it out. Without any issue, I can ride over bumps, small sticks, bigger sticks, and at least decent sized rocks. Having to carry the four together on campus is a bit of a hassle once the four are on the board. A 3 star review is only possible for one reason one of the wheels is not round, and the inside half of one of the wheels is warped, causing the carriage to shake. Because I am unable to contact them, I am hoping that the company will contact me and resolve the issue. I will then update this.
They are great wheels because they are able to resist my rough handling Near my house, there are some terrible roads. For my longboard, I bought a 14 mm spacer so that the wheels have a 1 mm offset. A 5 inch clearance is required. There are five items on my board. The ground is five inches above the floor. Buying bearings for my wheels was a good decision. As I rode my longboard to work, I was able to ride on rough roads with ease. These wheels saved me money on gas because they did not require as much work as other There was only one thing I needed strength and stamina. The wheels are great! Thank you so much! In the end, I am glad I bought this device. I no longer have to worry about bumpy roads. I enjoyed my ride.
In addition, My floor seems to growl as they roll over them. They certainly look like good size and seem to have a quality design. There is a slight wobble in them that could have an effect on high-speed performance, although I am not confident about it. As well, the wheels are not balanced, so if you spin them and wait for them to stop, they will start going in different directions right before stopping. A few times they swing back and forth before finally coming to a rest. I felt at $70 I shouldn't be seeing such an issue, so I knocked a star off. In spite of that, I have loved them so much that unless there is something else better, I'll keep purchasing them.
The Siberian huskies are going for a ride in the park on these. There was a path made of decomposed granite in the park. I was impressed with how well these tires handled the trail. Rocks, dirt, grads, gravel, and sand all had to be negotiated. The whole thing is amazing.
I thought these wheels are kind of extraordinary, they seem like they can roll over just about anything. However, I do not believe that they are a great value for the price.
I was disappointed that the core did not actually have enough depth to fully accommodate I am not entirely familiar with why this is done, but I think it is a bad idea that could result in premature wear and tear, which will make bearings more susceptible to damage.
