Questions & Answers

Comparing Shark Wheels to these, what is the difference?

Wheels made of shark are not my cup of tea. Having said that, these wheels definitely have a lot of traction... If street riding is your main focus, I wouldn't recommend them unless you are a beginner and your roads are uneven otherwise you'll slow down a lot.

What would happen to these if they were wet?

The wheels are designed to have more traction on wet surfaces than the usual longboard wheels, but they are still urethane, and will slip if the surface is slippery or wet.

The bone reds are skateboard Bearings, so are they able to be used with normal bearings?

You can certainly do that. As a matter of fact, I order a set of regular bone reds with these wheels and they fit just like you would

Do you think these tires will help me with New York's messy roads that I ride on an electric skateboard? Is every road covered in cobblestones and jagges?

Without a doubt! Rough roads and cobblestone roads are no problem for them.

This is one big and mean dog! It is a mean looking wheel, it rides fairly well and it looks great
5/5

The road traction is good, and contrary to what others have suggested, it improves as you wear it Although the traction over loose or rough pavement is slightly superior to that of a standard flat style wheel, it isn't The company has been included in an all-in-one list Although these wheels are technically designed as all-terrain wheels, in all honesty, you would be hard-pressed to use them on any type of off-road vehicle It is an environment on the road.

Longboards are the monster trucks of the skateboarding world
5/5

'[The 22nd of May, 2018]'*'Absolutely incredible, at first the contact patch is very small. The only part of the wheel touching the ground is the middle strip. Then, after a week or two, it manages to get It's soft wheels since they are 78a (the only softer wheel I've ridden is this year's Butterballs 75a from Sector Nine). This is a long wheel at 100mm, one of the largest on the market at the moment. Pavement is easy to maintain as a result. Across the wheels are all kinds of surfaces Whenever I get to an intersection, I can ride over railroad tracks. ]
These wheels excel at handling dirt, grass, and gravel that would impede smaller wheels. While this may not be able to replace a mountain board, it is a good option for adding some off-piste riding From your everyday longboard to a board designed for the road, these boards are stellar. Most drop through decks will fit, but if you have a pintail deck, or any deck without cutouts, you'll need riser pads to prevent wheel bite. I personally went with angled risers and rubber risers, and they work well. [May 19th, 2020]
I was talking to a friend about these wheels, so I thought I'd update the review as well. Their second birthday is tomorrow, so it's funny how time flies. During the review for Pintail, I fractured my left arm afterward, I had surgery to repair it In other words, it may not be a good idea to bomb a steep hill with the longboard equivalent of a clown in I learned from my mistakes be sure to keep your set up low to the ground if you're a speed demon in the making. Whatever, what can I say about this set of Despite all the abuse they've taken from me and the hell I've put them through, they have outlasted any romantic relationship I've had. This is what I mean by the wheels. With them, I learned to drift. For two springs, summers, and fall seasons, I used them virtually every day. Besides the first three pictures, I also included a fourth photo of them after two years of heavy use. Although it's amazing to see that the other top reviewer's pair wore out after just three months, my pair is still going strong after two years. greatest battle scar they have is a scratch from rolling a piece of glass over months ago, but it has not affected performance in any way. We paired a 33' Pantheon with a 3'1" drop I enjoy playing down style decks, they are an integral part of my favorite setups. Among the cons, what is it? Describe the weight. It is the heavy weight of MBS wheels that would be their Achilles heel. In my set up, they make up most of the weight. Approximately ten pounds is what I would estimate the entire thing to weigh. The wheels, on the other hand, might weigh about eight pounds There are 7 of those. By using these wheels, you will become more powerful The belief I have in you is deep.

The hair goes bald pretty fast, so it's not great for cruising
4/5

As it stands, the tread looks cool, has an alright grip in loose dirt and sand, and works well going downhill, but is a bit However, the tread pattern is fairly thin, so you'll wind up with a bald strip running down the center of the wheel in no time, which causes a loss of grip and a tendency to slide. Though the ground clearance is cool, it is able to ride over the majority of debris on To illustrate the difference between new and bald wheels, I have attached a picture of a new wheel. Those dirty wheels have been on my car for about 3 months now,.

This is well worth the time! I did not specify if these wheels came with bearings or not
5/5

It is easy to ride on these wheels because it resists my rough-road driving I live near a bunch of bad roads. In order to make the wheels of my skateboard have a 1-inch pitch, I purchased a 14 mm spacer. A clearance of 5 inches is required. I have a 5 on my board. The ground is 5 inches away from her. Buying bearings for my wheels was a good decision. As I travelled to work on my longboard, I was able to overcome rough roads with it. Due to these wheels, I was able to save money on gas. It was only a matter of strength and energy for me. I really appreciate you sending me I don't have to worry about rough roads anymore. I believe it's worth it for the price. It was a nice.

The only downside is that one wheel was warped and the goods were heavy
3/5

Those wheels are almost unstoppable, if they are not too heavy. My electric skateboard was built on a budget, and these wheels were the most expensive component. I use the skateboard to commute to my college campus, and the new wheels have improved the board's ability to move. It is not a problem for me to ride over bumps, sticks, larger sticks, and decent sized rocks. Once the four are attached to the board, they are quite heavy, so it's quite annoying to carry them around campus. A three star rating is the result of one of the wheels not being round - the inside half of one of the wheels has a warped shape, causing it to shake get in touch with me and work out a solution, since I cannot reach them. I will update the review once the issue has been resolved.

Wheels like these do have a slight wobble, but otherwise they are nice
4/5

In a nutshell, Their size seems to be okay. They definitely look good, and there is a growl that comes as they roll across my floor. There is a slight wobble in them, but I don't know if it will affect performance at high speeds. In addition, the wheels are not balanced, so if you spin them and wait for them to stop, they will begin to alternate directions right before stopping. There was some back and forth movement before they finally came to a halt. I felt that at $70 I should not have experienced such problems, so I knocked one star off. Having said that, I do like them so until there is a better option I will continue to use them.

These AT wheels are amazing
5/5

The purpose of these was to go on rides in the park with my Siberian Huskies. There was a pathway made of decomposed granite in the park. I was impressed by how well these tires handled the trails. Over gradations, dirt, rocks and gravel they went. My jaw dropped when I saw this.

In comparison to simply buying a longboard with the same wheels, this is a bit pricey
3/5

are kind of amazing, so they should be able to handle just about any surface, but they are not a great value for the price. * Because the core is not deep enough to accommodate the bearings, I did not like them so much. The bearings may be positioned in this way for some engineering reason that I don't understand, but it seems to me that this is a bad idea that may result in premature wear and tear on the bearings.
