Could I switch the hardware to a 1 1/8" one if it means making a difference to the performance or the skateboard? I can use the 1 1/4" hardware if it makes no difference, but will it affect performance?

There was no trouble replacing the existing hardware for my drop down box with the 1" button head shape with allen heads The welding and galling processes do not combine) as well as stainless steel (which does not rust through). The price is great and you get a lot for your money.

There should be a black version of these! These bolts were the only ones I could use for my boosted board due to my lights and our other equipment causing my stock bolts to be short

It's not the first time I've had cheap screws It was so cheap that the screw heads broke off during installation. Strong and durable, these Fireball screws are worth the price. I built a vintage board from the 1970s, and the holes on the deck didn't A rubber mallet was used to gently tap in the truck's screws onto the deck, and I was afraid they would snap. Fortunately they did not! Besides having solid threads on the screws and the nuts, it also had a good appearance.

I had to mill around in my garage to locate one that fit my bolt as one of the lock nuts had the wrong diameter

Stainless steel hardware Why should you buy it? Due to my plastic penny deck, aluminum trucks, and weatherproof bearings (rush), the board is rust and damage proof. Then I bought these knowing they would get wet and hoping they would stay rust free. Five or six rain skate sessions later, they are still going strong. As of yet, there is no sign of rust.

The board is a nice upgrade for a starter board

I bought my son a 'starter' skateboard, and the truck was an excellent addition to it. As the board bolts loosened, they started to come loose. All of them were made of aluminum. In the following tightenings of the heads, I began to strip them. These were a gift for him and he is very pleased with them. All of the subsequent upgrades will probably be outlasted by them.

The fact that it comes in a variety of bolt sizes is fantastic - I've never seen anything like that before I love it because it's compatible with many different types of boards, trucks, and risers, as well as different bolt types and shapes. And most importantly, stainless steel is an essential part of your skateboard hardware! No other metal would ever be put on my skateboard!

The only issue with this product is that I ordered the wrong size bolt - and now I have to walk back to the store to return it. However, I'm just going to repeat myself The company/brand is the best, so make sure you order the correct size with them!.

In the end I preferred the black color over the Chrome for my board. I got them to see if the Chrome would look good on my board. After taking off the fireballs and putting on my normal hardware, I found it lacking in comparison Noticing that the fireballs were perfectly flush on the other hand as opposed to my hardware set of the same size, I decided to keep them. You can tell right away that they are It is a really useful set of hardware. Just got another set for another board.
