Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use these knee pads to lay tile on the floor?

I've never used them for tiling, but they do protect knees, so I suppose you could.

Is there a y or a n for recaps?

Separately, you can purchase recaps.

My knee circumference is a size 12 on a scale of one to ten. Should I get an xs or an s in the first place?

Small (S) is my choice.

Which size is better for me, small or medium, because I'm exactly 14" tall?

I'm 13. Mediums and 5 around the knee work well.

The cost difference between riveted pads and these pads is well worth it
5/5

These pads, or the smaller Derby pads, will not let you down if you truly need to protect yourself. For the past few years, I've been skating on Triple Eight street style pads. I've never had the courage to truest knee slide out of a fall at the skatepark's bowl. Now I understand why. These pads are extremely durable. When you fall, they won't slide around and possibly down your knee. It has incredible padding. Unlike my previous pads, which allowed a lot of the impact forces to pass through to my body, heavy hits to the knee aren't painful. I should have upgraded to these as soon as I realized I wasn't just messing around with skate bowls and the like.

This item does not fit the description
3/5

So, I took my measurements EXACTLY as instructed. And everything was put in its proper place. They've arrived, and they're not going to work. Now I had to reorder, hoping that 2xl-sized items would be available. I guess I won't be able to do roller derby unless I get a 3xl. These will cut off circulation unless your thighs and calves are the same size. This is particularly aggravating because no sporting goods stores stock these items, so we must rely on the sellers to provide accurate advice. Size up - My return request was approved by the seller, and now all I have to do is wait for the process to complete.

I've never had better pads in my life
5/5

These are, without a doubt, the best pads I've ever had. In the past, I've used TSG Pro and some thinner 187s, but the 187 Pro Knee Pads are by far the best, fitting perfectly and remaining snug on my knees. The fact that they slide true is the best part for me. They stay straight on my knees as I slide, ensuring that I always land directly on the caps, whereas my previous TSGs twisted sideways, causing the pad next to the caps to wear through. The stretch fabric on the back of the 187s is thick and appears to be very durable. This is also in contrast to my previous TSGs, which had a much thinner elastic and developed holes and tears after a year or so. 187 Pro Knee Pads are highly recommended.

This is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy A three-star rating is based on the following: Quality: Fit: Perfect, Excellent Horrible
3/5

These would be impossible for me to skate in because my knees are so small. On my knees, I feel as if I'm wearing buckets. I purchased a small, as recommended by the size chart, but returned them right away. It's great for crashes, but it's not so much for skating. I ride in mtb pads on a regular basis, so I'm used to them, but these are impossible to ride in.

This skate is designed for aggressive skating
5/5

This was purchased in order for me to learn how to skate aggressively. This is my largest knee gear profile; it's very sturdy, and you won't feel anything if you fall on your knee. This, in my opinion, is the best suit for skating in skate parks. Any urban freestyle skating on the street will require some practice with these, as they can obstruct cross-country skating. over. I imagine it will be difficult for derby players to use this, but 187 does have derby-specific knee gear. The only disadvantage is that the inner valkrow can be excessively short, i. e. You won't be able to do the inner strap if you grow a little, so be generous with your measurements. Mine was just a smidgeon too big!.

Without a doubt, the best pads
5/5

Hands down, the best knee pads. When I returned to skating after a ten-year hiatus, I quickly discovered that getting it from a good slam was much more difficult, and I realized that I needed to start wearing knee pads. br>br>I wish these had been the first knee pads I purchased, but I had already torn through several other sets of cheaper knee pads. br>br>Once I finally ponied up and purchased these, I was glad I did. Despite the fact that no knee pad can protect you from everything, these ones do a good job. br>br>At first, it was a bit of a downer. I was initially put off by how far they protrude from your knee, probably 4 or 5 inches, but once I got past that, I realized how great these pads are. br>br>I've had this purchase for 14 months and am still very happy with it. P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. For more information on how to choose the right size, go to Killer Pads' website; I was able to use their chart and my pad fit perfectly.

The Gorilla Pads are a must-have for any gorilla enthusiast
5/5

They're huge, but they're the best I've ever seen! I think they're too big for my legs, and they make me look silly when I wear them. At first, it may not feel very comfortable, especially if you're standing. When you bend your knees (which is exactly what it was designed for, right? ), however, it feels perfect. The content is fantastic! Very long lasting! It also makes me feel safer than other pads I've used in the past. Due to their additional belts, they also cling to my legs very firmly. Now I understand why Tony Hawk wears them!.

The highest level of safety
5/5

I'm at a loss for words. When my son grows up, I wanted the best for his safety. My first thought was Protec, a product I used as a kid. However, we soon discovered that their knee pads, as well as their helmet technology, should have remained in the 1980s. Hands down, the 187 killer pro pads provide the best knee protection available. Helmets, on the other hand, I came across a triple 8 Gotham with mips. It's a bit pricey, but it's well worth the investment.
