Questions & Answers
As far as I'm aware, SR Suntour doesn't state what the maximum weight is.
In short, yes. This was bought recently and it measures 130mm when it is on my bike right now, according to its dimensions. My guess is that the actual travel is closer On my 2003/2004 stumpjumper (not sure what year it is) I replaced a broken Manitou shock. I have tested the shocks on two different vehicles and they performed equally well, if not better. There's no doubt that it isn't high-end comparable to today's shocks, but if you're just replacing an older shock, it should work perfectly fine. It's perhaps similar to what you're used to. The rear shock changed the geometry just enough to keep people from going over the front when they borrowed the bike, so I wanted the front end to be slightly higher. People were going over the handlebars when they borrowed the bike.
The one side of this is a spring, the other is a hydraulic cartridge
Is it compatible with 9mm quick releases? You bet it is.

I do not use it for extreme downhill riding, however for my trail / street riding it gives me a very smooth ride. One interesting thing is that it is advertised as having 120mm of travel, yet the length is identical to When travel length increases, the fork tubes are usually longer to accommodate the additional distance. In other words, I'm not sure if it is 120mm or not, but still, at this price point, I think this is a really nice fork.
It arrived in less than a week after being shipped from Asia to Los Angeles. It works exactly as it should, and lockout is easy to use as well.
It works really well. As far as the lockout and preload go, they work great. The weight is not too bad, despite what some people have said. The new fork is an incredible improvement from my old one. Large jumps and rough terrain are not an issue with its 120mm of travel. Installing this device is super simple and easy. You shouldn't hesitate to purchase this fork if you are thinking about getting one. The cons are For the steerer tube, you will need a star nut.
It fits perfectly and installs perfectly.
Shocks of this type seem to work The front of the frame will rise quite a bit with this option, so be sure to plan accordingly.
The price is high, but the quality of the product is great.
I got here in no time. My OEM Walmart fork is not even close to this one in terms of performance, setup and install was simple I commute daily, so this was a perfect fit for me. It feels like it can handle some trail riding, but I wouldn't push it to its limits.
I wanted to build an oldschool full suspension frame for myself, and these are perfect for what I needed. In short, to get the crap out of you while transitioning from BMX to downhill and jumps. You have to admit, they can take a lot of punishment.
