It depends on the type of headset you use that determines the result of the crown race. It may be a sealed bearing or a ball bearing. With threadless headsets, you can pick one up that has a sealed bearing or ball bearing and has the appropriate crown race for your These items may be found in any LBS (local bike shop) so you can see first hand whether or not you're getting what you want, and the shop attendant may be able to further explain your needs.
It is possible to use any 26" wheel with disc mounts. This is a 26 x 2 for me. It has a 26x2 wheel up front and 0 wheels in the back. Five wheels on it is the most it can likely be so it stays within the safe range.
In general, you want to stay within 100mm of travel, but adding 20mm shouldn't be an issue if it seems like the travel is too long. If it seems as if the travel is too far, add some air pressure to the adjustment knob.

I just wanted to say that for the price specified, you are getting a decent product. It is difficult to find a better deal elsewhere. The pros are The cost of this frame is very reasonable if you want to build a budget bike. * I was able to bounce the bike well while I was riding, both in compression and in rebound. As a result of riding off the 6" curb at 185lbs, the shock is compressed about 1" compared to the stock shock. This is 5. There is good paint quality and the shock looks good. However, there is one problem. The packaging does not include any extra accessories or manuals with warranty information. You only get the On one of the two shocks I received there was some metal stuck to the bottom of the steerer tube next to the crown race. Clearly, the issue occurred during the press of the steerer tube. As a result, I had to use a file to smooth it down before installing the crown race, which resulted in a minor scratch on It appears that the manufacturer did not maintain quality control. The manufacturer painted over the holes with some tape and painted over the brake adapters, which covered up the holes and made them look unnoticeable or untapped. My anger was sparked when I saw them until I put a small allen key through them. A lack of detail in the preparation of the forks can be viewed here. The upper tube assembly seemed to have a small amount of grease on it when I compressed the fork down two inches. There is some concern that the fork was either overfilled with grease or the seals were not up to par. In general, I'm pretty happy with how cheap this fork is since it's fairly sturdy. In light of the troubles I had with the product, it doesn't deserve a 5-star rating Nonetheless, from a cost standpoint, the choice is not an easy one. As far as benefits are concerned, I rate this product highly. The bottom line is you get what you pay for, a low-cost shock for use in the basics. I own a Fox and Rockshock fork, which I also own, so it would be misused to compare the two. I recommend that if you decide to buy this fork, you purchase the 2-year warranty just in case there are problems Until I have some more experience with it, I can only provide my initial impressions I plan to see how it does in XC situations in the months to come. In the event that the shock fails after several rides, this will result in a 1 star rating.
As a recreational MTBer, I enjoy exploring new trails. This shock is an excellent entry-level shock for an affordable price. It will open the door to buying better forks, and if you do not mind The wheels are amazing and I put them on my (29er) 2019 GT Avalanche hardtail and love them. Make sure you set it up correctly and adjust it as needed. Plug and play does not apply here. Setting up the plate and measuring psi levels is simple, as the chart is located on the fork. In the near future, I would like to see this brand expand into more varieties and selections.
It took a month for the front fork on my bike to snap, rendering it.
My Suntour XCM30 fork received a fantastic upgrade with this unit. The ride was smooth and easy.
There is danger. I recommend that you do There is a danger associated with this fork! I urge you not to It looks great but after two rides, it has a tendency to lock out at random when hitting small bumps. The adjuster can be toggled temporarily to fix it, however, it is not a reliable method. It is okay for one bump to absorb, but it does not travel the next. The shock fork's unique function renders it a hazard on anything but smooth roads, which defeats the purpose of its design. You can save money by doing so. My normal writing style isn't that of a reviewer, but I want to warn you about losing a lot of skin and money.
It is not truthfully advertised, no where in the description is it stated it is not for downhill or freeride use only in one question. did not purchase the purchase with the intention of using it for downhill or freeriding, but I would not have purchased it if I had known that. This will be put to use for its intended purpose. As a result of being untrustworthy, they only got 2 stars, which I find.
The bike looked good at first, but it did not include a star nut (didn't specify), it did not include a race (definitely should have specified that fact), and the forks leak oil both out of the box and after being Although it looks sharp and the knob for adjusting rebound is easy to use, it does work well. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't leak oil, it would be an amazing value for the money. Are there any other users experiencing the same problems as me?.
Honestly, I didn't expect there to be much interest in these forks -- nobody seems to be willing to test them in a realistic setting. It was on my wishlist to try a fork like this, but I didn't want to add too much to the cost of my bike, so I obtained Bolany instead. The first exchange took me several weeks to complete, as it was my first time doing so. My bike is on it right now, and I had no problems with the brake mount, but the lockout worked. I won't claim it was attached correctly, but I am using it. But my lowers don't seem to be even in length, and my wheel doesn't seem to fit right, but I can attach it anyway. My weight is over 220 pounds, and the fork seems to max even under moderate usage. I'll add air via shock pump someday. I have only one REAL complaint with this thing, and that is the amount of flex, including the fact that I am not familiar with air forks. Could this be expected? I believe that it has lots of side-to-side flex but not so much forward and backward which I would consider good (will probably not snap in half) though it does worry me considering I ride it to work everyday (6miles roundtrip) In general, it is not a terrible fork, but I will update it once I add brakes. My opinion is that if the price were under 120$ then it'd be a steal, but that's what I paid and it feels a bit expensive to me. When the low end forks for name brands are all out of stock for months on end, this might be the only option for someone like me who does not have a lot of money to spend.
