Questions & Answers

Does this chain work with a 10 speed road bike? I have a Panasonic Sport lx, will it work with that?

There is no way it will work. A chain with dimensions of 1/2 x 3/32 is needed.

Are you able to link to it from a master URL?

I guess it does. It's a heavy duty chain with a master link. See https//link.

In how many speeds do you have?

A single-speed chain is included with this chain

Do you think this chain is heavy or am I the only one who notices it?

There is no doubt that the chain is Although it is very rugged, I don't think I'll have any problems with it anytime soon. I've had it for about a year and I have never had a problem with it.

You must sign There is a lot of strength in this thing
5/5

My fixie just got a new chain today to replace an old, dirty and rusty one. There is a lot to it. The chain is longer than I expected for a single speed chain, so I need to remove about seven links to fit my bike. Still, it is better to have too long chain since you can always trim it at the end. Unfortunately, I do not have a chain tool, so I cannot complete the chain replacement. It was a terrible idea to use bolt cutters to cut off my old chain, because this thing is so big that any other method of doing it would have been impossible. In the process of trying to pry off the plate on the link I wanted to remove, I snapped half of the needle nose pliers. Following this, I tried pushing out the pin with a hammer and a nail on top of two wooden My next attempt was using a hammer and a pin intended for hitting the chain in a vice. This also did not work. I am waiting for the chain to arrive. This is what people tell me at least locally [in Feb Anyway, I'm impressed with how strong this device is. I've heard that master links are weak links, and I take that for granted. It will be interesting to see how it handles my weight of 240 pounds,I won't be taking this thing lightly. My plans are to update it after I have used it for a few weeks.

The KMC brand is one of the best in the business Their lives are entrusted to them, in a literal sense
5/5

The company makes chains, and that's all it does. It seems that their logic adds up to a great chain if I quote their marketing statements. My experience with KMC products varies from various models of the company, but none of them have ever been bad. I've been quite pleased with the durability of this. I think this is the model that is a few dollars cheaper than the "super" In the same series, there is a "light" as well. I am very confident in both chains because they are very solid. It's a joy ride for me, as I don't use any brakes. This chain seems rock solid now that it's been fixed. After several hundred miles on my current one, I don't worry about its quality or durability in the slightest. It stretches very little. Changing your chain every 1,000-2,000 meters is always recommended, but not mandatory The number of 1,500 miles won't cause you any anxiety as you approach that mark. in the capacity of a Clydesdale that whips and mashes. br>br>Once you buy the chain, you must follow the directions in the manual. Pay attention to the specifications and make sure it fits your gear. It is only if you do those two things that your chain will be trustworthy.

The KMC KOOL K710 1/8" single speed bike chain can be found on our website
5/5

Single speed bike chains with this chain are the best out there, according to me. I love this look Silver side plates and black inner links make up the outer side plates. This is an incredibly heavy duty item. A special configuration of the outer plates covers the teeth of the cog and chainring and thus prevents The K 810 comes in a 3/32" version, which I have yet to use. I like the smooth, quiet spin of this chain. The chain has been lubricated with 1 drop Each roller is equipped with 50 l. It keeps rotating in the bike stand for a very long time. The smoothest butter in the world. I have to admit that it is heavy, but has a very smooth, durable ride. Great looks, but it also has a very good ride. This is a highly recommended Fixie-based plugin. The rider.

I've found the chain to be the best so far
5/5

There is nothing to complain about with this chain! The pros are Please note My fixed gear bicycle allows me to run a lower chain tension without experiencing chain slippage - The motor is very quiet (if properly lubricated) The walls are very thick (extremely strong) - As a result of the thicker/wider links, the chain does not slip off track while it is connected to the drive train, which is a big plus. It is easy to remove the missing link design and replace it with another one! The cons are Please note A very heavy chain when compared to others (but is useful for what it is)
- With a proper lubricant, the chain can rust very fast. I took the chain out in the snow (lubricated with WD40, then applied lurbicant) and I found myself cleaning off more rust. It may just In addition to that, I must say that this chain has a very good price to quality ratio. You get lots of quality at a very low price.

KMC Products always deliver quality products
5/5

They are very well liked by fixed gear riders, as the K710 holds up to the abuse of being a drive-line and brake The chain wears well, has a nice appearance, and it doesn't matter if it's a few grams heavier. I've used it for fixed- and freewheel setups. A few low-rated reviews here mention that the links interfere with their hubs. If you are using a freewheel, make sure that there is at least 1/2" between the outside edge of the tooth and the body of the freewheel.

I think this chain is worth its price and seems to be heavy duty
4/5

The old chain on my Electra Cruiser 1 failed due to wear and stretch after significant wear and use, so I bought one of these last week. The second KMC K710 I ordered was necessary since my rear wheel (18T cog) had to be adequately cranked to catch the rear drop-out - I needed 3 more links to make it work. I had the most difficulty reconnecting the extra links from my extra K710 chain to the new K710 chain after removing them from my extra chain. The chain I have is a ToPeak chain I finally got a breaker tool after several attempts but it was not an easy There is no evidence that I deformed any of the links. The heavy chain may be to blame. I ride this bike to work every day in Chicago, and I use it all year My drivetrain has to deal with salty streets and cold weather around the year, so I definitely need a durable solution.

Grinding it out all the time I have updated
5/5

The following edits have been made to the text. This was an issue with my back cog, not with There is no problem with this chain. My chain is grinding on the back cog, and I can't seem to stop it. It seems to sit fine after I adjusted the chain line and added spacers, but I still experience grinding on the wheel, no matter what I My fixed bike has been running for many years and I've changed out my chain several times, but I have never had a chain that was so.

We're talking chains that are serious, top-notch! The charity program I run gives free bikes to kids in need
5/5

I get bikes, fix them up and give them away. Every time I buy a bike I get rusty chains, so I ordered As soon as I saw these, I thought they looked more like motorcycle chains. This is a heavy duty chain of excellent quality! As well as looking tough, they have a good look. It's very easy to snap them together, and they hold up well! It's so nice to have chains like that!.
