Questions & Answers

Will an 11-year-old fit in a medium cage? Is it possible to get a 42t cassette?

It certainly ought to. To clear the larger cogs, you'll need to turn the B adjustment screw in, but other than that, go ahead. I'm using an 11-year-old as a test subject. There are 36 cassettes in total.

Has anyone tried it with a ten-speed shifter?

It's compatible with shifters that have 10 or 11 speeds. All you have to do now is align the gears and synchronize them.

Is it possible to use the derailleur with Sensah Inspire shifters?

Those Shimano-compatible shifters appear to be the case. Shimano and SRAM have different pull ratios. They aren't going to work, in my opinion.

Rival 22 SRAM Rival 22 SRAM Rival 22 Rival 22 Rival 22 Rival Rear derailleur with a medium cage speed. A new SRAM Rival 22 11-speed drivetrain was purchased to replace a broken SRAM Rival 22 11-speed drivetrain. rear derailleur, medium cage, speed, ruined in a low-speed crash a collision at high speeds Despite the fact that I usually upgrade components when the opportunity arises, I've been very pleased with the shifting. Since I got it as an OEM take-off, the performance of this Rival hydraulic group set has been excellent. on eBay and didn't see the point in spending a few more dollars on a 22-inch TV. Rear derailleur from Speed Force. To compare, I have a mechanical Ultegra hydro bike, and while the shifting is lighter and easier, I prefer the SRAM hydro hood shapes because they keep my hands from coming off the front of the levers. And I don't think the extra effort required to shift is too taxing - Shifting works as expected in both cases, though I prefer Shimano Ultegra. br>br>It was simple to set up. I tweaked the b- To visually match the position on the old derailleur, first tighten the limit screw, then the high and low travel screws, and then mount it. My only complaint is that, despite carefully cutting the old cable a few times, I couldn't get it through the derailleur cable routing hole without fraying and sticking it. I ended up having to replace the shift cable, which was a minor annoyance but simple enough when you're at home and have a spare (that you can find). The derailleur shifts perfectly across all 11 cogs now that I've adjusted the cable tension correctly.

Rival is extremely simple to set up and shifts flawlessly every time, but it comes at a weight penalty when compared to Force and, especially, Red
5/5

In comparison to Red, you do not receive upgraded pulley bearings. Shifting, on the other hand, is on par with Force and Red in terms of effectiveness. So, unless you're concerned about weight (which I am, but this is a winter bike), Rival is all you'll ever need. br>br>The weight of this was 187 grams on my scale. That's fine, and it's a lot lighter than some of the competition's offerings. br>br>Setup is as simple as Shimano, which means it can be done with your eyes closed by most people. I've never missed a shift in terms of function. This derailleur has traveled 2,500 miles with me. Overall, if you like SRAM and aren't concerned with weight, this rear derailleur is bulletproof and performs admirably. br>br>Recommendedbr>br>5 starsbr>br>Thank you!.

It can be used with either a 10 or 11 speed cassette
5/5

It's performing admirably. I attended an 11-year-old's birthday party. On a Specialized Roubaix, a 32 rear cassette is required, which necessitates the use of the mid-drive. SRAM's advantage is that the spacing is the same, so it fits right in with my 10-speed derailleur. Despite the fact that it is for the newer 11-speed systems, it has a lot of speed. Both MTB and road bike systems use the same spacing, but 11-inch wheels are used on MTBs. For an mtb system, 32 isn't a lot of power. Actually, I'd like to go even bigger on the road bike, but I'm getting old.

With my Rival 1 10 speed setup, it works perfectly
5/5

It appears to be compatible with the old 10 speed Rival 1 shift system, according to my research. The reason for this is because the ratio is one to one. On both systems, there is one on the derailleur. br>Sure enough, it works perfectly now that I've installed it.

Shifting is extremely smooth
5/5

This is an exact factory replacement. It was made to order. Smooth as silk, just like the original. I never had any issues with the original until a tree trunk got stuck in my wheel and derailleur.

Although I enjoyed the product, I did not think the documentation was up to par. I use it to shift gears on my bike's rear cassette.
