Yes. FYI, my copy came with the new white version. br>br>In my opinion, get the GX Axs if you can find it.
That is not the case. Separately, you must purchase the battery and charger. Approximately $100.
A single charge should last about 25 hours...so you won't need an extra battery unless you're going on longer rides or won't be able to charge in between.
When there is no battery installed, only the cover is used for transportation.
Selected User Reviews For SRAM X01 Eagle AXS 12-Speed Rear Derailleur Black, A1, 52T
She shifts incredibly quickly and can take a lot of punishment. I was hesitant to make the switch to electronic shifting, but now that I've done so, I can't imagine going back. It's possible to shift while putting out 1000 watts in a climbing sprint, and it'll still be smooth and responsive. My derailleur didn't seem to mind taking some serious rock abuse in Sedona, and after a quick realignment of the hanger, it was back to smooth, flawless shifting. After a couple of long rides, you'll want to recharge the battery. When the battery is running low, shifting becomes sloppy. The battery lasts 60 hours according to SRAM, but I recharge it once a week to keep the shifting smooth.
It does not come with a battery, as other reviews have pointed out. It's easy to use and shifts smoothly. So far, there have been no issues.
