Yes, it should work without a hitch.
It's the matchmaker for clamp and sram. If that helps, I can attach it to my handlebar and then attach my shifter to it.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. Your question might be answered by SRAM support.

The title and description of the product are deceptive. This is a SINGLE item, not a PAIR as stated in the description. "The mounting hardware for the Avid Matchmaker X Clamp Set is made out of titanium Torx T25 bolts. Elixir 7, Elixir 9, X0, and XX brakes are all compatible. Sold as a set of two, enough for one bicycle. ".
Your bars will look much cleaner with these brackets installed. I would advise you to assess the current distance between your shifter levers and your hand placement carefully. I discovered that I needed a larger offset, so I switched the left to right and right to left directions. Placing the existing bracket next to/touching your grips will allow you to test it. If the offset is too small, switch the sides of the bracket. SRAM should make this bracket so that the rider can adjust/move the offset to his or her liking without having to buy specific side brackets.
This was required for the upgrade of my SLR dropper lever. Installing a Specialized SLR dropper lever to replace the stock dropper lever that comes with specialized dropper posts works perfectly. Because my brake system was not matchmaker compatible and my bike was 1X11, I needed to purchase this left matchmaker clamp to mount the SLR lever (matchmaker only). It works perfectly and gives me a lot of flexibility in terms of where I put my lever. 2- br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b EDITED IN 2016: I'm getting another one for another bike (Enduro), and I'll have to match it up with a Specialized SLR dropper lever once more. Awesome.
Sram clamp that is identical to the original. This is a two-piece part: the clamp can be used on either side of the handlebar, and the left side hanger can be used to mount a front shifter if you still use one. Of course, you could simply remove the hanger and mount your SRAM brake lever on either side of the handlebar with the clamp.
titanium hardware was included. The price rises as a result of this. Then I went out and bought some SRAM Guide Ultimates. They were provided with both. Has held up for the last seven months of three hard rides per week and occasional wrecks.
The bracket arrived two days ahead of schedule and worked flawlessly; I would highly recommend it.
