My trim feature is now operational

Because of the angle of the cable pull on the older 6800 system, the trim function was a little shaky. The seat post's angle either made it worse or better, but it was finicky in the best case scenario. The 8000 series has a straight cable pull, no barrel adjuster, and is simple to set up. My trim function now functions as intended. There's no reason to change anything else unless you want to, and I'm using the 8000 front derailleur with the entire 6800 groupo. One thing to keep in mind is that you will need to remove the chain in order to install the derailleur, and the old cable tag may be a little short for the new routing, but this is purely cosmetic. After it's been secured, the new cable tag is placed in a cap.

The chain was thrown over the big chainring, between the big and small chainrings, and off the small chainring while I was riding a Sram Force FD. I had it adjusted by two bike mechanics, but the problem remained. Crossing the chain was forbidden. That, too, was unsuccessful. I installed the Shimano FD, following the few instructions that came with it, and it worked perfectly. It shifts up and down, regardless of which rear cog I'm in. Everything is in order. This was something that should have been changed a long time ago.

As usual, Shimano delivers. This front derailleur took the place of a 35-year-old Dura Ace that had done its job admirably. I was surprised at how smoothly it shifted, and I haven't missed a shift in the 200 kilometers I've driven with it.

These are also fantastic. I bought a second one for my other road bike. They're both fantastic. If you have an 11-speed transmission, don't hesitate to replace it with these. very good value for money.

The Ultegra 6800 arm was rubbing my rear tire, so I replaced it with the 8000 derailleur. br>br>MUCH easier to dial in than the 6800. It's still a little bothersome, but that's to be expected. br>br>Shifting works perfectly.
