A clamp is used to secure it to the seat tube, which is tightened with a 5 hex key. It also comes with a small sticker that indicates the proper mounting distance from the chainring. If you don't choose the right tube size for the clamp, it won't fit.
It's a double of the one I got.
Due to the fact that there is only one number 34, take care not to make an error. 9 is the abrazadera's diameter, and my bicycle's diameter is 32 mm, so it's not going to work for me.
If you choose that option, it will be implemented. You'll need to select a size by clicking "Select Size." Next, you'll have to guess what you'll do. You decide on the size that's right for you.

I was in need of a replacement for a clamp that was nearly identical. (FD-) on the front derailleur 5600) and was unsure if the clamp diameter and cable length were compatible. The direction of pull was described accurately. They had been! The derailleur is now properly installed and operating. Its predecessor broke due to excessive sideways chain force, which was caused by an excessively worn outside front chainring. It was my mistake not to replace the chainring sooner.
TWICE. This is Shimano's second FD-series product. I've had both a 5700 105 and a 5700 105 front derailleur, and both of them failed in the same way. When I downshift, the spring stops working, and the derailleur does not move back. I assumed it happened to my old one because it was a few years old, but it only happened to my new one, which I've had for less than a year and have only driven about 800 miles. I took it to the bike shop, where he informed me that this is a common problem with these derailleurs and that I would need to replace it. This is completely unacceptable, and I would never advise anyone to purchase it. Maybe I'll be more successful with SRAM.
After six months, it's still going strong. I found it to be simple to put on and adjust. br>br>This was a replacement for a similar 105 front derailleur that came with my bike, which had become bent and allowed the chain to jump off the chainring despite the limit screws being set. It's unfortunate that it could be bent even without any collisions, but purchasing this replacement immediately fixed the problem. So far, I'm happy with the results.
It was well received by my husband. The only reason I gave it a four-star rating is because it didn't come with a screw to open so I had to cut it open to install it.
You'll have a fine component with quick and smooth shifts if the adjustments are done correctly. This item made me very happy, and I'm glad I bought it.
What else is there to say about Shimano's products? They have a good track record and are dependable. It runs smoothly and precisely. This was a replacement for my Tiagra front derailleur, and it was simple to install and adjust. The Tiagra was an excellent derailleur with which I had no issues. The 105, on the other hand, appears to be a little more refined and well-made. It's easy to notice a boost in performance.
Taking out the old one and putting a new one in its place.
SRAM Apex FD was replaced with this Shimano, which is far superior. It only took two tries to get it right, and I fiddled with the SRAM for a week, but it was never quite right. Shifts are a little easier and faster, and there's no chain rub at all, even if you cross chain it.
