The tallest and most sturdy frame I've seen. I am a 6 year old mother of a very tall son. Because he tends to be on the scared side, he hasn't found it exciting to ride a bike. My son was very excited to see that they have lights. This is where the positive part of the story On two different 16" bikes, I tried them, and neither of them worked well. It feels like the bike is falling over in one of the slots because they are too high. The rider may eventually find it, or they may be too low and it'll become an exercise bike that doesn't go anywhere. Installing them was straightforward, but they don't match up with their geometry. It's best to use a smaller bike, at least for 16" bikes. If that's the size your child rides, it may be worth trying something else.

Please quiet down! Our daughter needed new wheels to replace the noisy ones she currently has. There has been no noise so far. I found the installation process to be a bit challenging. We had to cut off the black tops to make the bike fit a 16" bike, because they were too tall and rammed into the chain area, resulting in a non-working bike It is usable. Though it is nice that they work with any size, I wasn't expecting to have to slice and dice them in order to.

The wheels are attractive and feel well made, although I had to replace the axle on my bike with a longer one. Fortunately, this was an inexpensive process that wasn't due to the design of the wheels. The program runs without a hitch. They work fine and are well made. I am using them on a 20" bike, and I could have used a bit more space for up and down adjustments.

I had to make a change. There are 18"Schwinns. In a nutshell, The purpose of these training wheels is to replace the noisy hard plastic stock training wheels on an 18" Schwinn bike. However, we were not able to get the brackets to fit the bike. They were to short and By putting the new wheels on the stock brackets, we were able to fix this problem. The fix is simple. After that, we did a test. Due to the fact that they light up, these are a hit. We now ride quietly because they are a hit in the neighborhood. As soon as that dropped star was corrected, it was an excellent purchase.
