Despite its high price, this is an excellent bicycle for the quality it comes with. I'm not sure why the reviews Assembled most of the way, it ships All parts of the brake assembly, including the hand brake, are Just insert the handlebar assembly into the fork and you're ready to ride. That's all there is to A tire for the front needs to be inserted, and this requires two cap nuts. A wheel for the rear and a chain come set up. All the hard work is done. The tube, the tire, and the wheel are ready to roll. About 10 minutes were needed to assemble it. Most of that time was spent removing the significant amount of packaging (which did an excellent job of protecting the item in shipping). I'm happy with the bike. My daughter is just turning 7 and average size for her grade, and this bike fits her perfectly. The seat is almost all the way down, so there's room for growth. The front of the dress was adorned with a basked. If you have a stuffed bunny rabbit, I highly recommend that you ride it around.
The quality of the bike is outstanding, and the colors and accents are bright enough to dazzle a kid without being overpowering. Her height is 4' and it's a great fit with a little extra space for growth. With the bike, you get decent tools. The only thing you need would be metric sockets though if you're really planning on doing the job right. My bike is well-built and I'm very picky about it. I don't like rattles and I don't like anything wrong with it. Just make sure your fenders and chain guard are well-mounted. With my daughter, we covered around five miles today, and she is all set to go out tomorrow. It's hard to see how you could go wrong with this bike. The only thing I would complain about is that it's a little heavy, and there wasn't any other color option. The price will go up one more time before it does.
The design and parts are great on the bike. The majority of box store bicycles are much better than these. Five stars would be the maximum, with the following exceptions. A part of the drivetrain was not working from the factory, it was actually returned to the manufacturer. Despite the lack of braking, the back wheel was barely coasting and the rear hub was making a constant popping sound. The rear wheel had to be taken off and the hub bolts back off of the bearings because they were far too tight, but it worked if you are more mechanically adept. I had some experience with bikes so I managed to assemble the bike despite the unclear instructions. It's a plastic chain guard, and I was hoping for something lasting here. There's not much you can buy to replace one if it gets damaged. Keeping grease away from the legs of her pants while riding to school is what does the trick. As for the kickstand, it would be nice if it came with the bike. This is not a BMX bike, it's a cruiser.
That's a cute bike, but this is my second purchase of the exact same model (I bought the exact same bike for my kid at two different addresses) and they both have the same problem Periodically, the brakes fail to work for no apparent My kid finds it highly annoying and it makes biking more difficult for her. However, it's not the greatest thing ever! Could it be too much to expect a bike that works out of the package?.
It is not possible to mount training wheels on the back wheel because the bolt is not long enough. As the bolt is long, the training wheel bracket is thick, so it does not catch on the nut. In addition, the fender is attached with two screws situated above the bolt, so any wheel with an adjustable height will not be able to move. I need to get some very thin training wheels and remove the fenders now. There was also no kickstand included.
I did receive a navy blue viper junior in the mail. That's not what I expected. I recommend that you do not purchase. I would say the bike looks more like a bmx bike for kids, If I got what was advertised, that would be nice. I am very disappointed and hope it all works out for the.
My 4 year old is 48" tall, so he needed a bike like this. Her ideal bike should be this size and without gears, so she can ride it with There were so many things I liked about this bike. The training wheels wouldn't fit, so I spent an hour trying to get them on. My best attempt at sanity checking was to take it to a local bike shop to confirm this. Dumb design diamondback! I returned it and bought a different brand because it's dumb!.
Examine the parts closely rather than sweeping them aside. I am very impressed with this bike. To my good fortune, I had a buddy who knew how to assemble a bike. Due to the factory's faulty design It was so stiff and tight that the assembled fork arm was installed backwards, and the rear tire was a little loose as well. There will be no way for me to fix the bike unless I take it to a bike shop. I'm told it takes special tools to do it.
