Questions & Answers

Is it possible to feel the cleat while walking, or does it walk like a regular shoe? Is the sole stiff enough that you wouldn't wear it on a daily basis?

Because of the cleat mounting plate, the center of the sole is a little stiff. When walking, you won't notice the cleat. I only use them for cycling, but they haven't caused me any problems while walking around on my rides.

If I'm 11 years old, what size should I get? There are five of us who don't have wide feet. ?

In addition, I'm a size 11 as well. 5 people from the United States who have "narrow feet." To accommodate my extra width, I usually purchase size 12 shoes, just like you. I ordered a size 47 and found them to be a little tight on the sides, but the front was plenty roomy. However, after a week or two of wearing them, they loosened up and are now comfortable.

Is this compatible with the shimano xtr pd-? Is there a race pedal for the M9000?

This is a mountain bike shoe, but I use it for bike tours and commuting because it is comfortable enough for a bike shoe while still having the stiffness of a true road shoe. I hope this information is useful, and best of luck!

Lightweight cycling shoe that is a little on the small side
5/5

The Giro Rumble VR Cycling Shoe has exceeded my expectations. They're light and comfortable, and they're perfect for my casual neighborhood rides. I'm hesitant to wear this shoe on my trail bike, and I wouldn't recommend it if you're planning on riding any challenging mountain bike trails.
NOTE: Because the shoe runs a little small, order a size up from your usual size. I wear a size 11 in shoes on a regular basis. Before ordering through Amazon, I looked for a local retailer that sold this cycling shoe so that I could inspect and try them on. The retailer only had a pair of size 46, which is my usual size, but after trying them on, I realized they ran very small and knew I'd have to order a size 47 because half sizes were not available in this shoe. Order a size larger than you normally would.

Whew! I was relieved to discover that the size 15 (EUR 50) shoes were a perfect fit
5/5

So far, everything has gone well! I waited 24 hours after receiving the shoes to try them on, knowing full well that I would be disappointed. Because so many people said these shoes ran small, I assumed they wouldn't fit my size 15 feet. They do, however. The shoes feel fine as I walk around the carpeted house-- a wide toe box, and a good amount of width Because I have thin feet, I can't give you an accurate width measurement, but I'd say the shoes are a good C or D width. I'll be wearing shoes with "old school" platform pedals and toe-stops. Clips aren't important, and cleat fittings aren't important. A rubber piece that fits snugly over the opening on the bottom of the shoes covers it. The material used to make the shoes is unusual. Instead of leather or vinyl, it's more like a heavy-duty felt. A sheer material is used to vent the shoe's top, which should help in hot weather. Once I've worn the shoes for a while, I'll post an update. If you're wondering why I bought these shoes to wear with toe-binding, it's because I wanted to try them out. The stiff bottoms, which should be more efficient than a flexible rubber sole, are the reason for the clips. Unfortunately, just before I purchased these shoes, the price had risen by $20.

The shoe is perfect for everyday wear
5/5

Lace length is 54". Comfortable and light, this is an excellent choice for casual riding. My old cleats were a perfect fit for the Shimano SH51. The cleat holes (4 per shoe) are hidden by a removable cover. I substituted 54-inch black shoelaces for the orange shoelaces.

This is a fantastic shoe for people with large feet
5/5

Big feet and nice shoes don't usually go together in a sentence or in the same shop. I'm a size 15 W (EU 50) and these fit perfectly; I haven't tried them out on the bike yet, but walking in them is fantastic, and the room for my large, wide feet, even with a medical orthotic, is fantastic. Excellent craftsmanship and design. I just wish there were more items in my size available.

The insole is very hard
3/5

I bought this shoe expecting it to feel like a regular walking shoe but with cleats and a little more stiffness. But instead, I received a shoe with a hard insole that makes you feel like you're standing on molded plastic. It also doesn't feel like it was molded to support a foot, at least not in my case. A normal shoe's heel is concave to support your heel, but this shoe's heel is completely flat. There is no support for the arch in any way. The front of the insole is higher on the sides and lower in the middle, causing discomfort throughout your foot. I would have to take them off if I stood in them for more than 5 to 10 minutes. I'm not sure how they could design a perfect shoe but ignore ergonomics for the part of the shoe you stand on. br>br>However, as a riding shoe, they aren't all that bad. The experience is tolerable if you put them on right before riding and remove them right after. Apart from the insole, the rest of the shoe is in good condition. To the untrained eye, it appears to be a regular pair of shoes.

Stunning footwear - Whether it's with or without clips, it's a great way to express This pair of shoes is incredible! I am not a regular biker, but I did participate in a Ragbrai event in Iowa this past week
5/5

In two days, I covered 135 miles. On my Trek 7, I only have flat pedals. My tennis shoes were causing instep cramping in my foot. These are much more rigid and have solved the issue. I'm an 8-year-old man. I purchased size 43, which is 5 D / wide. They're a little long and narrow for my wide feet, but they get the job done, as stated. Walking on it is simple - When it comes to biking shoes, they are both practical and comfortable. I've read a million reviews, and I'm here to tell you that - Bike shoes are well worth the money if you have flat pedals (no clips). OBTW - These are designed to be used with clips, but they aren't required. Also, to all you bike nerds out there: Next year, perhaps clips. Taking baby steps:.

Cleats with a casual appearance that are a little tighter but not too tight
4/5

These shoes can be worn with or without bike cleats and are suitable for walking off the saddle in either case. They have a depression in the sole where the cleats go, which is accentuated once the outer plate cover is removed to reveal the adjustable SPD clear holes beneath. br>br>The shoes aren't particularly light, weighing in at 15 ounces. 3 oz for size 47 without cleats and 15 oz for size 47 with cleats. They're almost as heavy as my winter cycling boots, weighing in at 9 oz with cleats. br>br>They're a bit on the small side. My US size is 12, so I tried the 46 as recommended, but it was too small because my toes were rubbing against the front. I then tried size 47, and while they fit fine, the big toe on my right foot (which is slightly larger than my left) brushed up against the left front wall of the shoe, which I assume is due to the symmetric and narrow rounded front design, rather than an asymmetric oval shape to allow for more room for the larger toes, or just symmetric but wider rounded front. Because my feet are narrow, I prefer narrow shoes like this one, but these are either too narrow or run small for me. br>br>Their biggest advantage is that they can be worn off the bike as well, which is useful for cycling day trips with rest stops or even riding to work if your job doesn't require formal attire. br>br>In the product pictures, the "ox blood" color appears to be shown in two different colors at different times — one that looks more burnt orange'ish brown and the other that looks more blood red — and the ones I got are more blood red than burnt orange/brown.
