I've been cycling for a long time and this is probably my sixth pair. Aside from the synthetic leather vs. real leather debate, they compete with shoes that cost three to four times as much. A cleated shoe with good width is almost unheard of. The majority of brands are quite limited. br>However, there have been a couple of complaints about these shoes: 1) The remark about "high heels" - On the heel of every cleated shoe is a raised area. They're there to make walking in them a little more comfortable and to provide some traction when walking on a hard surface (like a tiled floor). Cleats are hard plastic, which means they have no grip, so walking on them without the heel bumps and grippy stuff on their surface would be like walking on ice. br>2) Regarding the cleat mounting holes not matching up: The forward and back cleat placement can be adjusted using the four hole mounts that move. The first time you move/slide them, it may take some effort, but they will move. br>3) Difficult to navigate through: Cleated cycling shoes aren't walking or hiking shoes, so that's the way it is. Yes, when you 'click, click, click' your way through the gas station to use the restroom or restock on food or water, people stare at you. However, you're most likely dressed in lycra shorts and a garish jersey, so you're already a sight to behold. Joe Sixpack can't stop laughing at this new addition to the freak show.

I admit that I bought these because of the low price and the positive reviews. When it comes to these, the old adage "you get what you pay for" comes to mind. br>The size, on the other hand, was not an issue. It's a little bigger than I expected, but it's still doable. So, what's the deal with the two stars? Continue reading to learn more. When I first received the shoes, I noticed that the bottoms were different. It's almost as if three "high heel" spots were added to the bottom of the shoe. Now, I understand that this is done to protect the cleat, but this is where the show's low quality begins to shine through. Our other spin shoes have a molded bottom and a sunken-in cleat. This is significant because the design of these shoes makes walking nearly impossible when they are removed from the bike, so if you plan on using them on a road bike, you should bring a pair of shoes with you. br>When I went to put the cleat on the shoe, I ran into more problems because the holes on each shoe are different. Yes, one side of the toe is higher than the other. br>I then noticed that when installing one side, the cheap plastic screw plate moves freely. br>I've included photos of these shoes, as well as the mismatched hole location and poor sole design that forces you to walk in high heels. I've included a photo of our old shoe as a reference for how it should look on the bottom. br>br>There's no way I'd buy them again, recommend them, or think they're worth the money. They're poorly designed and built on a shoestring budget.

Small in size. My only complaint is that they run small. I bought these shoes to use in Spinning classes. I had to return the size 8 pair that I had originally ordered. 5/39) and reorder in half-hour intervals. 9/40 is a size up. If you're buying your first pair for spinning, keep in mind that you'll need to buy SPD Clips separately.

These shoes, on the other hand, do not have a single flaw in my opinion. The cleats were purchased separately, and they were simple to install. The shoes themselves are very comfortable. These shoes were purchased for use with a peloton bike, and while my quads and lungs may be burning during a "ride," my feet are happy: )br>br>Yes, they've been fantastic; I especially enjoy riding the bike, which is a great workout! These aren't exactly "fashion forward," but they're cycling shoes. They are "fugly" by nature, as my sweetheart describes them. But- hey- They're all the same, and I don't give a damn what other people think of my feet when I'm sweating buckets and sucking air. Apart from that, the dog is the only one who notices them:.

I found exactly what I needed. During my spin sessions, I can now achieve a much better ride. It's extremely relaxing. Also, this brand tends to run small, so order a size up. I usually wear a 38UK, but I ordered a 39UK and it was the perfect fit.

I'm a size 10 and I'm wearing them right now. Originally, I ordered a size 44 shoe in the United States. The length was fine, but the little toe joint was a little tight. I went up to a size 45 and the toe box was fine; the length was slightly longer than the 44, but it was still comfortable.

My shoes arrived in excellent condition and on time. I installed the cleats that I ordered separately according to the instructions that were emailed separately, and they fit perfectly. I tried them on and they were extremely comfortable. My feet have never felt better in new shoes than after two twenty-minute rides in them. They are wide shoes that fit well. Without a doubt, I would order the again.
