Questions & Answers
Yes. The phone can be locked in either portrait or landscape mode. This phone mount is fantastic.
In order for it to work, you must have the part that adheres to your phone or phone case.
Wireless charging is not hampered by the case.
Because the case is what latches onto the mount, you'll need a quadlock case for your iPhone 12. It is, in my opinion, worthwhile.

Everything went smoothly on the first day. On the second day, on the second trip down the hill, the bracket at the neck snapped, and my phone shattered on the trail. I realized the phone was missing once I got down the hill. To find my phone, I had to return to the top and retrace my steps along the trail. The bracket was still attached to the back of the phone, and the other end was still attached to the bike, indicating that the product was defective due to a casting crack. I'm hoping that the company does the right thing and replaces this product, because it wasn't cheap.
This may not be fair, but I came across this while looking for the best phone bike mounts and didn't realize I needed to purchase a separate case. So I haven't been able to use it and am planning to return it because I want to upgrade to a newer phone as soon as possible. I'm not going to buy another case just for this mount, so I'm not going to buy one right now. Then, after a few years, spend more money on a new case. I should have read more carefully, but it appears to me that it is far too expensive when there are cheaper alternatives available that do not require a separate purchase.
I was hesitant to buy the Quad Lock Out Front Mount for mountain biking at first, but I eventually decided to try it. I was really looking forward to mounting the Quad Lock Out Front Mount to my Fat Tire Bike and hitting the trails this morning. br>br>How disappointing is it that my phone fell off during the first ride? That was my fault; please double-check that everything is in place. You're good to go once it's locked in.
I feel like a complete moron for foregoing a plethora of far less expensive alternatives in favor of this overpriced nonsense. The plastic mount ring on my bike broke the first time I tried to install it; yes, it broke the first day I owned it. THE. VERY. FIRST. DAY. br>br>I'd say this thing is fatally flawed if it can't be tightened enough to STOP MOVING on my handlebar without breaking irreparably. Move on to one of the many other, less expensive options.
It appeals to him greatly. It was simple to put in place. His ability to wirelessly charge his phone is unaffected by the mounting piece. When he was out and about with this, he had one crash. The phone fell out of the holder when he slammed his body into it. He was relieved because he claimed his phone would have broken if it hadn't. As for the rest of his ride-- The phone remained firmly in place. It was something he really enjoyed.
I had no idea what to expect, but I knew I needed a bike mount for my mountain bike to make it easier to get on and off during my rides. Because I already had a quad lock phone case, getting the bike mount was a no-brainer. Welp, my first day riding with it, I took a decent spill and thought for sure my phone would be ruined and I'd immediately regret installing this on my bike, but after recovering and returning to my bike, I noticed the phone had been unclipped from the mount and was in excellent condition! That, in my opinion, is an excellent way to keep your phone from being completely destroyed. This product is fantastic, and I'll never ride without it again.
This purchase has left me very disappointed. br>The tightening screw pierced the plastic. It's as if the ledge or shoulder against which it tightened was too thin, and it busted through after the first ridebr>Purchased the one with zip tiesbr>Would not recommend this one personally.
This was purchased so that I could mount my iPhone to my bicycle while riding. It's well-made, and I've mounted it on the handlebar of my 2019 Fuji bike; it's sturdy, and the mount doesn't move when I ride. I do hit a few small bumps, but nothing too serious, and the mount stays put. I'm confident you'll be able to jump over them with the mount and phone intact. The mount comes with three different sleeve sizes so you can put it on your handle bar wherever you want. It's a fantastic purchase, and you won't have to worry about your phone falling out while you're riding.
