A reorientation of the mount insert can be achieved with two M3 machine screws of about 10mm long (instead of the two short screws currently installed that will not work with the reoriented mount insert), and two M3 nuts to fasten the M3 screws in the mounted insert. To keep the M3 nuts from loosening, Loctite or a locking nut should be used as a secure means. The mount is very sturdy and of excellent quality.
It is compatible with my XOSS, but it will not work with a new Bryton I just purchased. The fact that this is the only 22 is quite disappointing. That is the only 5 mm mount I could find, and I would recommend it highly.
There is a possibility of reorienting it.
You can measure this diameter by looking at the handlebar grip. Approximately 5mm is the diameter of the stem that attaches to your handlebars. The circles you find on bikes today are the newer, larger 8mm ones.

This mount is mounted to the handlebar. A mount like this would be very useful. It only works on steel bars that are 22mm in diameter. It does not work on aluminum bars or carbon bars that are larger in diameter.
A small clamp such as this is available. It was compared to my out front clamp, which I purchased from Wahoo. It was so far from matching It's OK to use, but I wouldn't trust it with heavier bike computers.

It fits the 22 well and is a sturdy mount. A 5 mm bar was used on my trike. The majority of other mounts are for much larger diameter bars. I thought it would be perfect.
It has a great design, and it is well made. As my computer's casing is made of aluminum, it fits tightly so I don't have to worry about the buttons moving too much. It fits perfectly between my TT bars right in the middle. This product was a huge hit with me.
