Selected User Reviews For Eurobike Dual Disc Brake XC550 Road Bike 21 Speed Shifting System Steel Frame 700C Wheels Road Bicycle
This product has several flaws. br>The front break was defective and could not be repaired or adjusted by a professional bicycle mechanic. br>Seat (saddle) dropped twice during the ride (not fixable, lever for easy adjustment is broken)br>Chain wheel was too small for a bike of this size, making it unsuitable for long rides or even commuting. br>Almost everything on this bike has to be adjusted by the customer. br>The body had dents in it. br>Nearly all print-on-demand (POD) services are available. The graphics that appear to be "adhesive labels" began to peel away as soon as the first test ride was completed.
Stickers are the logo type paint that can be seen on the bike rim. The front sprocket is made of a soft material that began to deform after only three days of use. After five days, the pedal began to come off. The wrapping on the handle was also shoddy, and it began to fall off almost immediately. The gears are squeaky and noisy. The brakes aren't up to par! This is a bike that, if it is sold at all, should be sold for a much lower price. Even at Walmart, you can get much better items, as I've shown in the photos.
For a cleaner look, I took off the wheel stickers and added some accessories. I took it for an 8-mile test drive around the neighborhood this morning, and the brakes are a little noisy, but that's probably due to the fact that they're brand new. It's a little heavy, but it's a fantastic bike in general.
Overall, the bike is reasonably priced; $200 for a bike that is reasonably comfortable is a good deal, especially when most good beginner bicycles cost between 600 and 800 dollars. 700$. This is only used on a trainer, so it never sees the road. When it arrives, I expect some work to be required; mine was fine in terms of shifting and indexing, but the brakes needed to be adjusted, and the wheels needed to be trued. br>br>Advantages-
- The ride is fairly smooth and comfortable. br>br>Cons-
- This bike is made of steel and is quite large.
- I'd recommend replacing the grease that comes with the bearings because it's pretty bad.
- The seat is made of flimsy plastic and should be replaced.
- Brake pads are fairly hard and do not stop well; it is recommended that they be replaced.
I'm quite comfortable now that I've shifted the seat back a little. br>br>The only thing that matters are the gears. When I move them around, the entire structure moves. However, this isn't a major issue. br>br>UPDATE: The bike is still awesome!br>br> 08/2020br>br>OK, I've been riding this bike every day since May of this year. br>br>1) I ride fairly frequently and over long distances, so I needed to replace my tires after about three weeks. 2) The bolt on the left crank arm continues to loosen. My bottom bracket might need to be replaced, according to a repair shop. In the meantime, I purchased some Locktite Glue to keep it secure. br>br>3) The seat is a shambles - must purchase a more suitable one br>br>However, when I'm not having problems with the left crank bolt loosening, I have a great time riding it and average about 10-miles per hour. It's a started road bike!br>br>20 miles on any given ridebr>br> However, as some of my more experienced cyclists pointed out to me. When you buy a QUALITY road bike, you should not have to replace anything on it, which is why you spend a lot of money on it. br>br>So I'll either buy a top-of-the-line new bike or a used one for my next bike.
Range Riders are a group of people who ride the range. Beginners and mid-level cyclists will love this road bike. Riders on the range. This bike is fantastic!br>br>It's light, fast, and has a subtle aerodynamic design. No, it's not as fast or as aerodynamic as a professional bike, which costs three times as much. However, there is a price range to be considered. The Shimano shifting system (front and rear derailleurs) works flawlessly on this bike. br>br> The disc brakes on both the front and rear axles are excellent. br>br>As with any new bike, you should always tune in and dial-in the shifting and braking. in the direction you prefer Despite the fact that this bike is practically ready to ride after a 5-minute ride, Assembly time is 10 minutes. br>br>The seat is average and comfortable, but the quick release allows you to swap it out if you prefer. I wish the rims (which are double walled) were quick release as well. br>br>I replaced the peddles with Lumintrail red aluminum ones. br>Tires are nice, but they can be replaced at any time. br>br>Another feature I'd like to see on this bike is a more professional Shimano brake shifting system. But, hey, you can't really complain for the price. For the average everyday rider, they are ideal. br>br>I adore this bike because it is comfortable, smooth, quick, and stylish.
Dare I say it's a sexy road bike? It's made of medal, which means it's a little heavy, but I prefer the feeling of support that something sturdier provides when blazing down the road at top speeds! It did come with two flat tires, so I'm hoping that's how they ship them and there won't be any problems. I had to order an air pump because I didn't have one. This review focuses on the appearance of the bike as well as the level of difficulty in assembling it. It was easy because 85% of it was pre assembled, as someone said. And, once again, you'd be spending 6-figures. Even if you spent seven times as much on a LeMond or Specialized bike, it wouldn't look as good. Did I mention that this bike comes with three spoke wheels? That alone was over $400. This is a no-brainer! br>br> So far, everything has gone well! There will be an update on the bikes that ride with comfort and ease in the near future.
The bike is 85% assembled, so complete assembly is pretty quick to complete. Ensure that the bolts under the seat are securely fastened. I would definitely recommend taking it to a local bike shop for fine tuning. br>For a 6ft person, 54CM is adequate. br>br>Overall, the bike is excellent and I enjoy riding it.
