I was able to put the scooter together quite easily. The connections are one and the screws are six. Moreover, it folds into itself and without much effort when it is put together. The weight of the thing is just under 30lbs, so it's little hard to lift one-handed up/down a flight of stairs. This is an accurate charge time - about 3 hours. It takes five hours for the battery to fully A simple press of the power button, a kick, and a hit of the throttle are all it takes to start the machine. My height and weight are 6'2" / 195 lbs, and my shoe size is 12 and the handlebars and deck are tall and wide enough for me to comfortably ride. Despite being 9" wide, you won't need to worry about wiping out every time there's a bump in the road or sidewalk, though you'll want to slow down if you come across anything bumpy. Top speed is about 12 miles per hour. A 5mph top speed is easily achieved in standard mode (the middle of three available performance modes). During inclines, the cycle slows down a bit, but I haven't had to get off and walk it up any hills so far. If 12 is true, then Even if five miles per hour seems slow to you, especially compared to some of the more expensive electric scooters out there, trust me when I say that unless you're riding on perfectly level terrain you won't be able to go It is impossible to feel a crack in the sidewalk due to the lack of any suspension. However, I find the range of options to be a little disappointing. In the last week, I have been commuting to and from work every day During the round trip, our car runs 5 miles at full throttle with the lights on, and the battery is used 70% of the time. It should also be noted that once your battery level reaches 10%, the scooter will suddenly slow down to the point where walking might be more convenient. I want to use more like 6 so that is the range I can use realistically. On a full charge, a full charging will get you approximately 5 miles. Despite that, it's only been a couple of months That may be the reason for some range loss when temperatures reach 35 degrees F this week. My overall impression is that the scooter will work for my needs as a commuter, so I'm happy with it. I make the 2 in no time at all (I do the 3. I can drive 5 miles each way in 15 minutes) and it has enough range for the trip. Furthermore, its inexpensive, which means it will pay for itself within about six months when it saves you gas. When I can confirm if the scooter lasts that long, I'll update this review. However, it seems to be pretty well built, The following has been updated This review has been updated with driving a further 300 km (*185 miles) since I originally wrote it. I'm happy to report that the scooter is still performing as it did before. The battery usage is a little better in warmer weather, I can confirm. Within the 60-day period As I drive 60 miles under 70 degree F temperatures, I'm removing about 10% of the battery. Nevertheless, according to three factors, I am considering upgrading to a more expensive scooter (Segway MAX G30LP) 1 *br /*br As much as I still feel like going even 13mph on uneven terrain is dangerous, I am beginning to wish that I could go a few miles per hour faster on relatively flat back roads I use for my commute. Please see 2. A hill of about 400 feet steeper makes the 300W motor slow to about walking speed. Although it still moves, it just feels strange to be moving so slowly in areas where pedestrians are present. 2.
3. On bumpy roads and sidewalks, the solid tires and the lack of suspension make for an uncomfortable ride. Whenever I recommend a first scooter to someone who may be on the fence about using an electric one, I still strongly recommend the E22. The combination of high quality, low cost, and decent performance make it an attractive proposition, especially when A second update was made It's my hope that adding the optional external battery will give me some additional power and speed. As a result, the scooter now gets an additional 4-hours' power with the external battery installed Even when climbing hills, you will maintain a speed of 5kph (*3 mph). In spite of the fact that I don't recommend using the external battery option, its design doesn't appeal to me. Using a small plastic connector, the external battery will plug into the stem of the scooter, and the bracket holding the battery in place will hold it in place. There are two small screws on the bracket that connect the battery. These screws may loosen during operation due to shocks and vibrations experienced during riding, as has been reported by other users online. As a result of the screws being loosened, these vibrations and shocks can then damage the plastic connector. While riding on the bike, I was able to confirm that the screws did indeed need some re-tightening after installing the battery and taking a few test rides Increasing the tension. I used stainless steel worm gear hose clamps instead of just screws to hold the battery in place. As a result, the battery won't disappear anytime soon, but it looks tacky at the same time.
It was easy to remove the handle bar and attach the bike once it was out of the box. It didn't work after installing the application, updating the firmware, and re-connecting the Bluetooth. The first indication that the item would be returned was that. This was a great experience. I rode it in my apartment and it appeared fine. The first time I used it, the speed was off. I immediately noticed this after putting it outside for a ride. According to the map, I was going 27 miles per hour, which is impossible because the maximum speed is 15 miles per hour. There was only about 10 mph in my car. I got in the car, locked the doors and then it braked on me a few times, which was super scary, because I had no idea how it would happen and fortunately I was going slowly so I could My opinion is that I had hoped to like this, but it seems that I received a defective scooter and experienced what other people reported in regards to the Es2 and Es4. My initial assumption was that the E22 would not have this problem, The fact that it is defective right out of the box is an absolute no-no in my books. I don't think it is worth almost $800 including the extra battery. My thanks go to the company that has allowed me to return this item.
This is what we bought the kids for their When I first opened the package, I was disappointed Power and speed were much lower than Once that was out of the way, we updated the firmware through Bluetooth. I am amazed! I can't imagine how things would be if we had full speed and full power. I think this is a definite 0- If you do not update the firmware, the device will not be "tuned" out of the box. On a trip with my family, we took it on this bike and all the adults and kids enjoyed it, even the 230# uncle went up and down hills with no problem. Our only hiccup was that one of my kids was using the lock feature, but the bluetooth turned off as soon as he did. We were unable to access it now. However, the charger did not work after plugging it in. As a matter of habit, I took off the handlebars and disconnected the head unit connector (the same one you need to connect during assembly), and that cleared things up! This means we are no longer using the lock. As well as docking it one start due to Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.
It seems Segway Ninebot sent my customer return without any inspection straight to my door. It's shipped in a resealed box that does not include the assembly manual. Breaking one of the brake wires and a lot of scratches on the unit! This brand is terrible! I advise you not to buy anything from them!.
I like this a lot. Even so, it has three speeds which may make it seem slower than it is. Three types of sport exist normal, sports, and red sports. My understanding is that 12 mph is exceeding the maximum speed for a standard sport. If you use the red sport mode, then it speeds up. It's hard to say what the speed was exactly, but I was able to keep up with my friends of the same style that can go 40 miles on a charge that goes Aside from the break, there is no downside. In reality, the electric brake doesn't actually stop you, it just kind of slows you down, which is handy on a hill since you don't want to go too fast. You must step on the rear fender to stop the rear wheel manually if you want to stop fast.
This is scooter A glance at the box clearly revealed that it was not new and it had been opened several times, as it was covered in cut-off areas where shipping labels and tape had been removed. There was a customer's return form inside, and it was missing parts and As a replacement, Amazon sent another box. I have a scooter #2, but the scooter itself seems to be fine as long as the throttle and brake work. I assume this is due to me not being able to register an account. I guess an app would be fair, but no matter how many times I try it or what I send as the verification code, it will only give me errors about it being incorrect.
I tried registering through Facebook, The verification codes are different for each email address, and I tried 15 of them. All my attempts to restart my device and delete the app came up empty. You can save yourself time and effort by skipping it. Segway seemed like a more attractive brand to get compared to a random off brand one, but clearly it is.
