Questions & Answers
It has never cut me.
Yes. Extremely long lasting. We also have an owl, which is just as tough. Since getting it, I've gone on a lot of rides and am a big water drinker. It has stood the test of time.
Because the arms can be spread out more or less to accommodate different sizes, this is most likely the case.
Neither. It's a dyed anodize coating, so it should last a lot longer than paint or plating.

I knew I had to have it because my last name is related to birds, and it makes my bike look like it has little Hermes wings protruding from the sides, not to mention the fact that it's just really cool. It's a perfect fit for my bike and doesn't obstruct the inner-tube. So I don't have to unscrew the bottle holder to get to my tools, there's tube storage right below it. It's sturdy, secure, and nothing has ever fallen out of it, even when I nearly flew out of control while speeding over some rough bumps during a triathlon. People are always commenting on it, so I'm going to be a PDW bottle holder buyer from now on. They produce a fantastic item!.
I needed a unique bottle cage for my custom bike, and this one fit the bill perfectly. It was really only for storing light batteries. When it comes to water, I usually carry a hydration pack. Although I would have preferred it to be a crow, this black sparrow is attractive, and the other birds' designs and colors are also appealing. I've had other cages with similar designs, so I'm interested to see how durable the bottle-holding wings are. When you lay your bike down on the ground, this area is frequently bent. The bottle becomes increasingly difficult to insert, and the aluminum begins to crack. They appear to be a company that enjoys its work and does it well.
This cage appeals to me greatly. My soft water bottle would have a hard time falling out of this one, I believe. There's no need to be concerned about mountain trails or bumpy roads. It also looks nice; the only drawback is that it might scratch or rattle my stainless steel water bottles, so I just use a soft-sided one instead. br>Every item I've received from this company has left me impressed. Stuff that belongs on the top shelf.
They come with frame bolts that are both sturdy and attractive. They're matte black and appear to be anodized, so the finish should hold up for a long time. They are excellent at holding both "regular" and larger, insulated bottles. It's simple to take out and put back in on the go, and you can bend the "wings" to your liking. I'm glad Portland Design is working on projects like this- Everything about bicycles appears to have consolidated and become extremely monotonous- Portland Design serves as a gentle reminder that nice things are possible:.
The other cages aren't my style, so I knew I had to get this one when I saw it. It was a breeze to put together and it looks fantastic.
When I first saw this a few years ago, I knew I had to have it. This was one of the first accessories I ordered now that I have a bike with bottle-holder mounting points. br>br>It works well for modest-sized retail water bottles and narrower hard-sided bottles. br>br>It looks fantastic on my blue bike. br>br> To adjust, the wings bend in and out, but not too frequently - Choose a bottle size and stick to it; I believe it will last for a long time.
Whoa. This isn't copper; instead, it's a bright orange. It was purchased to match the copper bell and helmet on my beach cruiser bike, but it was an utter failure. Nope. The undertones aren't quite right. I had to get a new one, and now I'm stuck with an orange thing that I don't care for. I'm unable to return it because I do not have access to a printer capable of printing labels. Bummer. br>Now I'm in a worse financial situation.
They are a big hit with my wife. They are slightly heavier than CF or Ti cages, but not by much. This was an excellent purchase, and it has enhanced the appearance of my wife's Ti bike.
