Questions & Answers
The weight of the animal is 66 pounds.
It comes with a two-year warranty, according to the Heybike website.
The maximum weight that can be carried is 330 pounds.
Only two quick release latches are required to fold the bike: first, the handlebars fold to the side, then the front tire assembly rotates to the left, reducing the overall dimensions to about 38" long, 28" high, and 20" wide, with the pedals folding up as well. br>br>There is no way to lock the bike in the folded position once it has been folded. I wrap a Velcro strap around the bike's two tires to keep it folded and prevent it from "flopping" open during transport.

Jeremiah MacIntosh's video inspired me to order this bike. I'd been using a Lectric 2 for a while now. I placed an order for 0 and was dissatisfied with the wait times and delays. I was also hesitant because of the battery size on that bike. br>br>After contacting Heybike with some questions (and receiving an extremely prompt response), I decided to order the Mars. It came earlier than expected. The handlebar stem, as well as the seat and pedals, were the only things that needed to be assembled. The battery had to be jiggled into place, but the bike was ready to ride in under 15 minutes. br>br>The bike is well-built and of surprisingly high quality for the price; I weigh around 300 pounds and this bike handles my weight well, with no creaking or other signs of frame flex/strain. The motor has enough torque to get me around at speeds I'm comfortable with, whether I'm using pedal assist or just the throttle. The throttle is not on demand; to use it, you must first switch to PAS 0. That isn't a big deal for me because my other ebike behaves similarly. You can pedal the bike and use the throttle only as much as you want or need, giving it an "infinite PAS" effect. br>br>I was pleasantly surprised by the seat's quality. A basic (and uncomfortable) saddle is standard on many bikes in this price range. The one on the Mars is a well-padded (memory foam) saddle that is a little wider and spring-loaded, and it works well with the suspension seat post (another plus). Due to my weight, I locked out the front fork suspension (which has both lockout and preload adjustment) as recommended by Heybike support, but the 4" tires absorb bumps so well that I don't think the front suspension would be needed unless the terrain/pavement was extremely rough. br>br>The brakes work well right out of the box, with no squealing, which is a pleasant surprise, and the headlight is a step up from most other bikes in this price range, with an actual tail lamp rather than just a rear reflector. br>br>A big selling point for me was the battery. 48V 12. For the price range, 5 AH is a lot of battery. Not only does it provide excellent acceleration to the motor, but it also has a long range: I've driven nearly 15 miles on PAS and throttle alone, and the controller still shows three out of five bars remaining. br>br>The manual is the only drawback. It contains some inaccurate weight limit information and fails to explain how to make all of the controller adjustments. Jeremiah MacIntosh has a good explanation in his initial review video on YouTube.
I haven't had it long enough to tell you what I don't like about it, but I do like the fact that it's simple to put together and I'll be using it for simple pleasure. I had previously purchased a different bike for $1600 and returned it the next day because it didn't meet my expectations; however, this bike is more suitable for me, and by the way, I'll be 80 next year and that won't stop me from riding bikes. br>GEORGEbr.
Customer service is a complete waste of time! I received a defective bike and requested a replacement, but was instead offered a $30 refund and a can of black spray paint, despite having a two-year warranty and a 30-day return policy.
There are a lot better bikes out there than this one. I'd give it a 0 out of 5 star rating if I could!.
bicycles with large tires Electric bicycles with fat tires are becoming increasingly popular and sought after. in a positive way, after styles of bikes on the market today. The 4inch wide fat tires on a fat tire electric bike provide more surface contact with the ground, improving traction and stability. br>I highly recommend the Hey bike Mars if you're looking for the best value in terms of price, performance, and features in an electric fat bike. It includes everything you could possibly want or require for both off-road and on-road use. Riding in the city or on the road! br>For a little more money than the list's most affordable winner, you'll get a more refunded aesthetic, 4. off- Tires designed for the road (without reflective stripes but mounted on light-weight rims). This thing has built-in lights, a comfortable suspension fork and stem, a powerful 500w notor, and a 48V 12V battery. Shimano shifting mechanisms with a 5AH quick-removable battery. This makes it more comfortable and quiet to ride around town. br>There are no hydraulic disc brakes on this vehicle. The large 180mm rotors, as well as both brake levers, have built-in motor inhibitors that quickly cut power and keep you safe. It's difficult to go wrong with this product, but the 66lb weight makes it less nimble in technical conditions, and the spring fork isn't as adjustable or responsive as the air forks used by other more expensive brands on their MONSTER MODELS! If you're a camper or looking for a compact e-bike, this is the one to get. The Heybike Mars's robustness will appeal to anyone looking for a bike to use at that vacation destination where the clubhouse and other amenities are simply too far away to walk to. This, in my opinion, is the best option for someone looking for an SUV-style electric bike for city rides and light off-roading. gravel and a road It's a fun bike to ride, with a less aggressive geometry, and it's a great value with top-notch components. Don't be fooled by their rugged appearance or chunky tires; they provide excellent customer service. br> By the end of this E-book, you'll have a better understanding of how to use In this bike showdown, you'll see that the world of e bikes with wide tires has returned, and there's something for everyone.
My first bike, which I like so far, but the battery life is EXTREMELY EXAGGERATED! (15/16 miles) is the ideal distance.
I started with a "cheaper" one, which turned out to be a dud, and then went all-in on a Radrunner. $1500. In addition, it was a dud because the chain was skipped and there was no resolution. I also returned it. When I saw MARS, I thought to myself, "Let's give it another shot!" Couldn't be happier, and it took no more than 20 minutes to set up. There appears to be some confusion about how to align the handlebars, but that's not a problem. It doesn't appear to be aligned, but it was designed that way so that the bike could be folded. As you can see in the photos, the handlebar is perfectly aligned, but the clamp is not; however, it folds up nicely for transport. A mirror, storage bag for the rack, and a cell phone holder were also included. All of these items are available on Amazon for under $40.
Heybike Mars is the most cost-effective e-bike. Bike under $1000, as it has more features for the money; riding comfort is good, but expect to pay more for an over-the-top bike. If you're going to be riding for a long time, you'll need a seat that's the right size. The bike arrived well packed in a double wall carton with plenty of foam to protect it during shipping, which took about a week. In three weeks, I've driven 300 miles on it with no issues or problems.
