Questions & Answers

What is the light and how does it ?

Despite not having a light within the bike, they send an external bicycle lamp that functions by using two CR2032 button cells, which is clearly a fake.

Do peddle assist as advertised? There are a number of reviews online about peddle assist. From level 1 to 2 What does motor assist mean? Is it just motor assist or do I have to pedal?

Peddle is level 1, throttle is level 2, enough to go about 20mph, uphill is level 3, uphill is level 4, and being at level 5 is level 5. If I were climbing a wall or something, I would never have to use them. Using the throttle should not be a hold, it should be pressed enough to accelerate, then released, pedal for few secs, and then press the throttle. This should result in 30+35 miles with no difficulty.

In what size are the wheels and tires?

In what size are the wheels and tires?

The front tire of this bike is touching my shoe whenever I turn right or left. Why is this?

Both my husband and I have this issue with our bikes, their front forks are not backward and even if they were, it would not alter the position of the bike that much. A small frame bike. It is tall yes, however, the duration from the seat to the handle bars is pretty short. Both of us have a height of 5'7". Approximately 5'8" tall. Currently, I do not know how to (if able) fix it.

I'm happy with how things are going
5/5

A revised update for Sunday, August 27, 2019 is below. Having taken these things out several times now, I as well as my wife have noticed a small but nonetheless noteworthy There is no way to adjust the kickstand on the bike. It places the bike in an upright position with the kick stand too far forward. It is almost certain that the bike will fall over if you take down the kickstand and turn the front wheel to the right. The bike is still too unsteady even when the front wheel is turned to the left My inclination to use extra kick stands was such that I bought and installed two adjustable kick stands and mounted them just ahead of the original kick stand (I removed the original kick stand). There is much more stability now when the bikes are at rest. I'm hoping that Ancheer is listening since this would be a simple fix. The update was posted on Sunday, August 22, 2019. It arrived by FedEx this morning that the screw/bolt missing was found. Considering the stuff had to be shipped from China, it is pretty good support. As a matter of fact, they sent me four. My car was in need of a new battery. This is pretty considerate of you, I think. In terms of the ride, I took them out with my wife against her will It took us 14 minutes to ride all the way there and back. Approximately a month before, one of us had done the same ride on the non-public route There was a huge difference this time around between electric bikes and fuel bikes. The pleasure of doing business with you. Are you getting ready for a little incline? You won't have any problems! With a quick push of the pedals or a quick thumb rotation of the throttle, you're up and running in no time. I congratulate you! Both of us used about a quarter of the batteries during the 14 mile hike. So there was still a lot of juice left over. I advised you might find a saddle that is more comfortable in the review below. A second recommendation is as follows Using an extender on the stem of your handlebar will make your bike more stable. Our (both of our) pain was a result of being pitched too far forward and by the time the ride ended our hands and wrists (and my left shoulder) would need to heal. A heavy load or too much pressure on your wrists/hands. As I recalled from other reviews, this also occurred to me. The extenders I bought are both from Amazon. It doesn't matter how you install it. You can learn how to do this on YouTube. You can't make a mistake with this. It is much easier to sit upright without stressing your hands or Now I can understand people grumbling about having to buy a new saddle and handlebar extenders, but hey, you'd rather be comfortable, wouldn't you? If so, you'll have to pay $30-$40 You will suffer if you don't pay $40 extra. Don't complain, but don't tell others. We will be riding the bike again this weekend, this time for 14 miles The trip is 15 miles. My rating for this bike has been updated to 5 stars if needed. I'm enjoying this bike so much that I'll update again if necessary. It has come to my attention that these bikes aren't currently available. The reason they're temporarily out of stock, I assume, is because they're out of (I tried to order our second one and had the same problem. Basically, I bought this bike for my wife in Manhattan. I live in Brooklyn. You won't find any hills in NYC if you believe someone who tells you so. There are, I assure you. Long Island City was the next stop on our trip over the Queensboro bridge. She didn't leave me behind when she told me not to. There is not a great deal of incline up to or over the bridge but it is rather Although it wasn't a problem for my wife, I needed her assistance pushing me up the incline on my non-powered bike. I am 70+ years old, so it was somewhat difficult for me. It was like she just put the baby on the second level of power and BOOM! She Towards the end of the week, the thought occurred to me that I should get one of I did it that way. I am writing this review as a result of this. It took about a week for the bike to arrive. Approximately 70% of the assembly is done before it's shipped. You're right, the instructions leave a little bit to be desired, but this thing can probably be assembled even without instructions if you have a little bit of mechanical experience. To make it even easier for you, you even receive all the tools you need to assemble it. You could have a bit of trouble mounting the front wheel, cramming the disk brake into the wheel. After you've adjusted the brakes, you'll need to adjust it again. A bike does not come with instructions for how to adjust the shocks If you know how to search the internet, or do a little bit of research online, you should be able to do it without much hassle. the support. While I did not require any during assembly of my wife's bike, I found one of the screws/bolts holding the handle bars to the stem was missing upon delivery (the fourth). A thorough inspection of the shipping box failed to find the package. This probably happened during shipping because it loosened up. Since it was the weekend, I wasn't expecting for a response to come right away. by email the next business day, and they got back to me that afternoon. The presentation was quite good, in my opinion. The customer service representative quickly told me that they would send me a couple replacement screws/bolts after I explained about the missing ones. It's been more than a week now, and although the screw/bolt hasn't yet arrived, I'm willing to stand by since I understand it will likely come I will update this review as needed as far as support is concerned. In regards to the bike, it is a little heavy and a little small in size. Despite being about 5' 10" tall, I think it's okay for someone like me (and maybe my wife who is shorter) but anyone over 6' may need to size up. As far as sizing a bicycle is concerned, I am not an expert In that case, you should take it into account. The weight of this product is This is a pretty heavy track. The weight, with the battery, is around 54 pounds (which is off the top of my head). Although I haven't ridden these babies enough yet to make a fair assessment, I will update this review once we get a chance to use them more. Oh, and the saddle, you may wanna think about buying something else. The two of us thought that a nice, padded seat was in order, but then again we are a couple of old farts. While I will adjust this review as time goes on, for now, based on the little riding time we've had with them (and from the prompt response we got from support), it seems like a pretty good value to me. Depending on what needs to be adjusted, I will. The following are the changes for 7/13/2020 The bikes have been around for just over a year now and I have both my spouse and me riding them, and we are completely satisfied with them. I'm supporting you). Apparently, Ancheer does now offer other models and -- for the price I paid -- I would not hesitate to recommend the brand to my friends. It's true, there are better email options out there I'd prefer a bike at this price point than what is available at this time (in my opinion).

The following is a warning about safety or injury
3/5

Despite its simplicity, my son loves this electric bike! It comes as a kit and he was able to put it together within a few A father can simply ask what more he can get? A brief update A 10-point scale A WARNING! FOR 20*BR! A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE

I recently noticed that these electric bikes had a major safety issue. In the unlikely event the quick release lever becomes loose, there are no safety washers at the front wheel that will keep the wheel from falling off. Since the late 1970s, American bicycles have had safety washers on their front wheels. Many people take it for granted, but it's an affordable safety feature. To me, it is incomprehensible why Ancheer does not include these features on their bikes. It's true that the Ancheer Ebike has the hole in the front fork that accepts the safety washer, though they do not include it with the bike for some reason. There is a real possibility that the front wheel could come off the E bike and seriously injure you or your child if a heavy bump or divet in the road takes place. My sincere hopes you find this useful.

My commute to work is made easier with this device
5/5

The idea of getting an email has been on my mind For quite some time now, I haven't ridden my bike because I have grown older and it's much harder for me to pedal up hills than it used to be. I was given this recommendation by a friend of mine. In terms of the bike itself, it is pretty robust. As it's a cheap Chinese knockoff, I was not expecting it to be much better than that. This bicycle was mainly used to get to and from my work in the spring, summer and fall it's eight miles away, so it constitutes 16 miles per day for me. It is kind of awesome how the pedal assist works. Although I don't know how it works on higher end e-commerce sites The bike is perfect for me, especially since I have a lot of bikes. As long as I use the pedal assist at the highest setting, I get to work in the same amount of time as it takes me to drive, really speeding through all the construction and traffic, and still feeling like I've worked out when I get to work. In my case, it has a motor that cuts out at about 15 mph, so I get a boost when I pick up speed and a boost when I drop back down below, which is mostly up steep hills. am not sure if it is just my bike, or if this entire model is different, but I don't really feel any difference at any low pedal assistance level. It's a good bike with enough horsepower to take you 40 miles on max assist before you have to charge it, and it charges pretty quickly as well -- just a few hours. The brakes and shifters work well, and need no adjustment Unless you can replace it with a more comfortable one, or buy a padded seat cover, you would probably prefer to do either of those things. I found the bike to be quite heavy, compared to other bikes I've owned in the past, but you don't notice it much while riding it, but you sense it a bit whilst carrying it up and down three flights of stairs to my condo. I did not receive assembly instructions with mine. Despite being mechanically inclined, I found it fairly easy to figure out on my own, although someone else who does not possess my kind of skill may have some difficulty. It is required that you get the wheels trued at a bike shop, or do it yourself if you have the tools for it, otherwise the wheels will feel wobbly, though you may not notice it until you put the brakes on. Overall, I think I'm pretty satisfied with what I have achieved. It has about 150 miles on it so far, and I have only had to true the wheels out of the box because they were bent in shipping. I think it's a great bike for the price and it's extremely durable and well made.
