This brush works very good. I just received it today and it was delivered on time. My house was clean to the point that I wanted it to be. The soap and brush easily came off the chain oil that had accumulated. If you want to clean the chain itself, you should find a cleaner specifically designed for that task. The chain itself will have plenty of oil and dirt. It was a good clean they provided by the soap even though I used it in a mild manner, however a dedicated cleaner would have been able to do even a better job. This will be the next item I shop for. You might even want to look into those bicycle chain cleaning systems with multiple brushes. The final trick to prevent soap waste is to put it inside a cup. It is sufficient to turn the spray nozzle counterclockwise in the opposite direction of closing until the spray isn't overspraying and all that's left is to squeeze the nozzle. Through using this technique, I didn't have to use very much and I was able to get my bike cleaned effectively. This product was used in conjunction with baking soda and water to clean the exposed crevices of my motorcycle. Because the brush head is quite large, it will be able to fit into crevices that are only accessible via a tight space.
