Not at all. This is work. In order to push the link evenly, you have to find an angle and rotate the small metal rod slightly while you are twisting. It is frustrating to find the right angle. My mistake was not leaving part of the link in the field, but breaking the chain fully. It was not possible for me to break the master link using the master link breaker pliers, nor was it possible for me to reattach the chain using the master link. Don't waste your time on this garbage product.
This kit should not be purchased. The majority of items are unusable and cheap. The chain can only be removed with this tool. Additional chain links on fixie bikes are not made thick enough for fixied chains, which are small and thin. Reattaching chain requires extra links, so there is no way to do so without those You'll want to use this "Park" branded tool. I do not recommend it.
We are not supposed to use that chain breaker tool. When I used it for the first time, it broke. The plastic handle of the tool broke through the thread after I turned it so hard that the thread broke through the handle, rendering the whole thing It is not possible for me to be stronger than anyone else on Earth. As you can see, this tool is poorly made and cheaply made.
I changed a bike chain by using a screw driven link separator a number of years ago. I think this new technology is much better than the old one. It's just that I didn't know a special tool was necessary. This is an easy-to-use and intuitive tool. Click on any link to flip it. It is off the chain. Repairs were done to the other gear Chain must be threaded, links flipped back into alignment, and clicked. I have turned on the chain again! The fact that the program comes with several links, a length checker, and an old fashioned link separator is great. You can find a wealth of good YouTube content if you need any help figuring out how to use it. My own bikes are all I will be working on, so there's no need to make this tool more durable than it needs to be.
As a first-time user, I worked with the software for the first time, and all of the tools did exactly what they were supposed It's only the bike chain tool that gets easily deformed when I'm trying to break the chain that I do not like. For this tool to work well, make sure you read or watch YouTube videos about how to use it, otherwise it will also get deformed easily. Although my first tool didn't break the chain easily, it became somewhat deformed as it used up. It may have something to do with the design or the materials of the tool.
As a result, I was able to replace my chain on the day they arrived (both orders arrived at the same time), and everything has been smooth The only thing I can compare it to is a tool I have used to fix similar problems that made things much easier and more efficient, and I haven't used this kind of tool before.
Spend a little more on a better tool to push out the chain pin, because this works ok, but the tool for pushing out the chain pin is just too cheap. In this case, you can get it to work, but the press that you screw up will walk up the pin, so you have to set it up so it doesn't walk off the pin without your help. The head would work better if the bearing was mounted on a shaft and could stay put while the screw was being turned.
