Topeak Aero Wedge Velcro Pack

A nice saddle bag is a must for anyone who takes to cycling, no matter whether it be on the road, the cross-country trail, or the mountain trail. It is a good idea for everyone to carry an extra tube, some patches, and a multi-tool I use a tool, as well as a couple of other oddments that I prefer. A small pack could be the difference between a quick trip back to the car or a long walk home. Having my necessities in a small saddle bag has never been an issue for me, and Topeak makes some of the best bags available. The bag is made from a nice sturdy 1200 denier fabric. I'm not sure if there is a thin plastic backbone inside it but I believe it is sewn into the inside. You can attach it to the bike using two quick release buckles that attach to the seat frame or velcro straps that go around the seat post, and if you need more space, it has an expansion zipper that will let you expand it further. This tube is more than sufficient for an additional one. You can clip a bike light to the back of it using the loop on the back. In addition to an emergency poncho holder on the bottom, a couple of elastic straps make it possible to hold a slim, stowable bag. I don't know if there is a much better bag for essential items. It's also well built. Pics are shown below. I felt it was just the right size as it has plenty of space for my gear, and you can unzip it a bit to increase its size. A mesh elastic pouch on the inside of the flap you open and one attachment point for the rear light are found on the inside, on which you may secure some items with internal elastic bands. Also has 2 elastic bands positioned on the bottom side for strapping something down. Overall, the bag is extremely well made. The materials used seem to be pretty light considering their heavy construction. I would buy it again because of the well-built zippers. In addition, this price is cheaper than anything I could find locally at this same size, construction, and functionality.

Please take note The size of this item is medium. Here is a picture of the bag with its zipper rolled up. Several road bikers have reported that this bag fits properly on their road bikes - as long as their seats are raised at least 4" from their lowest position (much more if you want to mount a tail light below). Unless pulled snug up against the side of the seat, it can be hard to zip/unzip. So far, I have not experienced any rubbing of my thighs on Using velcro, it attaches to the seat post (I trimmed mine so as not to stick out), and uses buckles to attach to the seat. The bag comes with elastic straps on the inside (2), outside (2), and outside back (1), to help you hold things, and a small elastic pouch in the flap hanging open in the picture as well. My multi-function device is in the box You can use it as a tool. I've put a fruit, a multifruit, and a book in its place, as far as the contents go Without having to expand it, it could hold a tool, CO2 inflator, patch kit, and keys without taking up too much space. I was truly surprised by how spacious it is. As far as rain/water is concerned At least 75, maybe 100 miles in rainy and wet weather, and my stuff inside this bag has either been damp or flat out wet every time.

The company's nbsp Having a large bag like the Topeak is absolutely fantastic. The quality is excellent and the craftsmanship is excellent as well. A little bit more is worth it! It is a side-by-side thing for me An overview of the Large and Medium totes compared side by side. We consider these bags to be the best bags we've ever owned. About a year ago, I reviewed two of the large versions of this bag and gave them 5 stars. Two of them are still in use. One of them I use regularly and the other I gave to my daughter when she started biking. Two of these bags were purchased, one in medium size and one in small size, and all have the same great construction with one, but important, exception - the size of the pocket opening. A seat post strap can be attached to a seat. The two medium bags arrived today and when I turned them on my Giant Defy Advanced Pro bike, the straps were a perfect fit to secure them to the seatrails. The velcro on my seat post strap overlapped only about 1/8 inch when I wrapped it around the seat post of my bike. Even though the strap itself was about two inches longer than the velcro on the strap, it barely touched the shoulder. The large bag I received today was for a friend who rides a Trek bike and he had exactly the same issue. Had my seat post been a lot bigger I would have found this not an issue on the same bike, although using the large version of this bag was never an issue. I did not like how the bag did not overlap enough under the seat, and the velcro was in the wrong place on the strap for the seat post strap. As the bag was not securely attached to the seat post, we were both concerned that it would fall off the post the first time we hit a bump. In exchange for these bags, I will return both on Monday, and I have ordered two large bags in their place. whether the seat post straps were defective because of a design issue or a manufacturing defect. Aside from that, these are great bags that are reasonably priced, made of high-quality materials, and have well thought out designs.
