Yes, it was a perfect fit for my Specialized Hardrock 29er. It was actually easier to put together than some of my other racks, and I like how solid it feels.
It's a bike rack, of course. However, if you're willing to adapt, you can certainly do so; it's a powerful weapon. But aren't there special racks for that? Isn't that the easier and safer option?
I haven't tried it yet; it's best to contact the rack's manufacturer.

I've had this rack for about a year and thought it was about time I wrote a review. br>br>***What I Love**
*I bought this rack primarily to transport groceries home. 2 Ortlieb panniers full (roll-on) top) can hold around 40 pounds in total (at least with what I buy). Since this rack can hold up to 55 pounds (the highest weight capacity I could find in this price range! ), it's a good investment. ), leaving plenty of room for more groceries or strapping something to the rack's top. br>*It has a good foundation. It hasn't bent or creaked in a year of grocery hauling. Despite clipping bags on and off (and probably getting hit by the occasional pebble), and even sitting semi-permanently, it appears to be durable. br> The coating hasn't come off despite being protected from the rain. br>*The arms allow it to be adjusted. My mountain bike has a small frame, so I can't put much on it. I was able to level out the rack by adjusting the front arms. (The hub arms can be adjusted as well. ) The need to bend the arms was mentioned by a few reviewers. It wasn't necessary for me to do so. br>*There are numerous locations where a cargo net or bungee cords could be attached. I had a storage crate (a little bigger than a milk crate) that was secured with a 2x2 cargo net similar to this.
The support bolts are the only thing holding it together. For more than six months, I used this rack with my Ibera commuter trunk. The rack's bottom support bolt snapped the day before yesterday. I was carrying a small load (3 pairs of wool socks, icebreaker leggings, and a 6-pack of socks) in a basket attached to the rack. Dales Pale Ale (a six-pack). I went to the bike shop today to get a replacement bolt, but they didn't have one that matched, and the other bolt snapped on the way home! I had to take the rack down and carry it back to my house. br>br>The bolts snapped in two places: at intersections and in simple cracks in the road. As a result, the load capacity does not account for bumps, and I'm now looking for a way to make the mounting stronger or more flexible. Perhaps a shock or additional support arms to connect to the dropouts?br>br>The curved ends on both sides are the only thing that bothers me about the rack. This narrows your basket options to those that can sit flat in between the upward turned sections.
I bought this rack for my 2018 radrover electric bike because I wanted to buy one directly from radrover, but as anyone who regularly visits their website knows, they are always out of stock. If you're buying this rack for a Rad Rover, make sure it says disc brakes on the package. Radrover charges around $80 plus shipping for their rack. I paid around $31 for this rack, and it was relatively simple to put together. I thought it looked fantastic, and it feels solid and well-made. built. br>br>Tip for techies: If you buy this for a Land Rover, you'll need to extend the rear brake electrical cable to keep your brake light working. This rack has a reattachment bracket on the back. I recently purchased a Bafang 4-piece set. I bought a 22-inch pin extension wire from Amazon and plugged it in after reattaching the light to the rack. To route the wire along the rack, you'll need to use some plastic ties. It cost around $14 to get the extension wire. Overall, I saved $50 and it looks great. I'm quite pleased with the outcome.
I believe I like this rack; it appears to be well-made, attractive, and well-fitting. The hardware that came with the assembly kit is terrible and missing pieces, so I gave it 3 stars: br>br>Normal hand tightening strips the hex in the head, making it extremely difficult to remove at least three of my screws if/when I need to remove this rack. One of them (where the right adjustment arm mounts) must have had a thread issue because it stripped halfway into place (hand tightening only). For the time being, it'll suffice, but I'll have to figure out how to remove it and hope that I can get a different replacement screw in there. Finally, I'm not sure what the orange rings on the back are for, but there are only one on mine. Because the missing one leaves an unsightly hole on the back with chipped paint and exposed metal, I'll most likely paint it or tape it over. My rack did not come with any of the orange clips (as seen in the Amazon photos). I'm not sure what they're for, but for the sake of this review, they're not there. br>br>If removing it wasn't so difficult because of the stripped hex screws, I'd probably ask for a return/refund.
