It has a light tan color to it. The color is more natural.

It's a little smaller than others, so it might work for mountain bike handlebars.
The basket, I believe, would be sufficient. However, I'm not sure the straps would be able to support that much weight. With that kind of weight, the straps could easily snap the wicker.

For the past two years, it has served me well. During various long distance rides, I carried this bag with my heavy duty lock, water bottles, phone, and other items. In July of 2013, I purchased this piece. br>br>In August of 2015, I hit a bump and the strap snapped. The only good thing about cheap straps was that I was able to wrap the rest and poke a new hole to get me through the rest of the ride. br>br>I'm keeping the basket but will most likely replace the straps (honestly, an old leather belt cut to size would suffice). br>br>The basket itself has performed admirably. It can be a little bristly at times, and some pieces do break, but not to the point where I'd call it bad. It's a basket, after all. br>br>The bottom is large enough to hold a lot of stuff, and I like how tall it is to keep things from flying out.
This basket is adorable and a good size; it was simple to put together, but after reading reviews about the weak straps, I used black zip ties under each strap. It's been a few months since I've used it, and it looks and works perfectly. There's enough room for my water bottle and recorder, and there's even room for my jacket if I get too hot. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
Adorable! This has piqued my interest. I won't be putting heavy items in it, but a few library books, your purse, your helmet (if your bike is parked), a bottle of water, and lunch can all fit in the basket (though not all at once). Because the leather belt/harness appears to be flimsy, I used cable zip ties instead of relying solely on the belt/harness. It's adorable, and I'd suggest it. Again, this is only for light, non-heavy items. To make it more sturdy, I recommend using cable zip ties.
It's a lovely basket that I used to plant flowers in! It adds a touch of class to any bicycle while also being extremely functional! Leather straps are really nice.
For their visits, I just purchased a triple bunk bed. I wanted it to be personal while also being practical. They'll be able to fit pretty much everything in these baskets! Books, paper, pens, dolls, and, of course, late-night headlamps (against the rules!). ) to read br>I understand that these will not be subjected to the same abuse as those used on a bike, but they are extremely well made. The leather on the strap is a little thin, but it can easily be slipped out and replaced with simple dog collars. Natural wicker is used to weave the baskets. I believe they are an excellent purchase that will last well beyond college!.
I'm sure I'll have to replace the buckle at some point, but for the price, it's a great deal. on straps, due to their low cost - Definitely not made of leather. At that point, I'll most likely revert to using old leather straps. But the basket itself is adorable and looks great on my bike; I used a velcro strap to secure the basket's bottom (through the weave) to my bike's upright bar so it wouldn't flop around while I was riding. Items won't bounce out because it's deep.
The package was delivered on time, but the wicker was damaged. This was put into a very thin plastic bag. like the produce department's thin bags It had no effect on the wicker's protection during shipping. As a result, some of the wicker was damaged when it arrived. I'll try to fix it, but there's no reason why I should have to. Although the basket is still usable, I am extremely dissatisfied with the fact that I was given what is essentially second-rate merchandise.
