In order to find the perfect mirrors for my Electra Townie, I spent about an hour researching. Easy to install, sturdy so it will stay in place without much fuss, and safe so I do not have to worry about it during travel. The mirror that I chose was the one that met my requirements for size, sturdiness, shape of the glass, no reflection on the mirror, and the right adjustment angles to fit my bike, allowing me to see what's behind me clearly. My order arrived today, I installed it super fast, and it fits perfectly. As a result, the rides are much safer and I don't have to twist and turn a lot to see how I'm doing in the traffic of I'm glad I found this website. Since being fitted with them, I feel much safer on my bike and it gives the impression of being well equipped for the ride. The first thing that popped into my mind after trying them out was, how did I get through the years without them? Haha, I am glad I took the time to look this one up. We got one each for each side. Despite the mirror's appearance as sturdy and well-built, I wanted to like it. Although it is made, I am unable to attach it to my bicycle with the tiny clamp. This will not fit if your handlebars have any type of tape on them (like most road bikes). It would be better if they offered more It's on its way back to me.

To fit the narrow handle bars of my scooter, I have to use wide arms. I have found the best mirrors I have used so far for my e-mail Since my first set was so hard to adjust, I have now tried four sets, and this set is the first one that works. Built well and sturdy, they have a good build quality. Having the arms swing out and in, as well as the swivel in mirrors, keeps my scooter from being bumped as I fold it down for carrying. Each of the swivel points has a very smooth feeling and is tight enough to keep being centered.

This article focuses on quality & reliability It looks like the picture shown on Amazon shows the product to be blue and not black, but it seems to be black due to excellent craftsmanship. As I understand it, the sides of the product are blue, and the lens is blue, but the aluminum housing in the picture looks like it is blue as well. It is because of the blue that I bought this item, as it matches my bike.
This is not a deal breaker, and I would recommend this product to others, but it would be nice if the entire product was blue instead of.

I like the way the mirror looks and how easy it is to install. Wind blew the bike over with enough force to snap the left side in half easily in one day. In other words, the mirror is very fragile. No matter how you look at it, the mirror is an unnecessary and even dangerous device. In the design, the designers have not accounted for the presence of brake grips and gear shift levers on bike handle bars. So, you cannot mount the mirror at a sufficiently wide angle to see behind the mirror. There are only a few choices for adjusting it, and it is stiff and limited. Your arm is most visible (albeit in good resolution in the good quality glass), and that is why there is a huge blind spot, which gives rise to my comment about possibly being in If you swerve into the middle of the road or lift your arm in front of your head, you can get a good view. However, the majority of mirrors you see appear to have the same problem.

The mirror couldn't be adjusted so that I could see behind me without rotating the whole assembly forward. I can see, but then the mirror bar prevents me from reaching the brakes. Possibly I'm too short, but I couldn't get it adjusted so I could see behind me. In addition to vibrating out of alignment when I traveled over bumpy roads, the mirror was also prone to bending when I moved. If I had sounded my horn really loud, maybe that would have solved the problem The screws are down on the adjustment slide, but I can't adjust them so there's no use. * While we're on the topic of adjustment screws The mirror does not come with the allen wrench needed to assemble it.

Compared to the old mirror, this is a much better one. It was a risk I was willing to take - and I am so glad I did. I have a 10-inch mirror that I used in the past A flexible arm of approximately one inch with (I imagine) a typical amounts of convexity- Because of the following two factors, it was dangerous to use. I had to use my hand to steady the mirror because (1) vehicles approaching from behind could not be clearly seen until they were within 50 feet and (2) because of the flexible arm, the mirror vibrated very much, making it difficult to see clearly behind it. Using Meachow mirror, I have solved both problems and I am checking my email 15 minutes earlier each day The safety of mile rides has improved. In the first place, I am able to clearly see vehicles as they approach, I would say within 200 feet, due to the convexity of the Meachow being less than what I believe is typical. In addition, the Meachow's rigid stem construction eliminated mirror vibration completely so I no longer have to steadie the mirror with my hands. This mirror was extremely easy to mount, taking only a few minutes to do on my 22 mm handlebar. There is a full range of adjustments I can make that, once implemented, are guaranteed to remain.
