Questions & Answers

You have to cut off the end of the grips of the handlebars, right?

In case your grip was a one-piece mechanism, similar to the old pedal grip you used for your bike when you were a kid, you would cut a circle into the end with an Exacto knife, aligning the end with the I D on the back of the grip.

Do you see a ring in your mirror?

A little rattle can be heard from the mirror. There are four of them in my possession. When clocked at speeds between 14 and 22 mph When you are riding at 20mph all hands are on the handlebars, you will not notice. A cure can be found as follows have your mirror positioned where you want it, you need to mount three screws in it The bottom of the mirror should be placed with five drops of super glue. A gap is created between mirror and plastic frame when gravity seeps in. Keep a paper towel at the ready to clean up any glue residue. The job will be done quickly and no residual will be left behind.

Mounted on the bar (under the grip) rather than plugging into the handlebar, this will be more stable. Could anyone give me some guidance on the clamp/bracket & size I need?

You don't make any sense to me as to what you want. A bike mirror like this fits into the end of the handlebar and cannot be attached to the handlebar itself.

Do you see a convex mirror here?

There is a slight convexity to it. There seems to be a disconnect between images and their distance. A right outside mirror is similar to the right side mirror of

It's awesome to have mirrors like these! It's hard to believe that these mirrors are so great! had no intention of getting big mirrors or those tiny ones, but papa bear said these are just right for me
5/5

It is true that they are a little more expensive than similar mirrors, but as with everything in life, you get what you pay for! Glass used in automobiles is of the highest quality. My experience with adjusting screws is that the stainless steel screws are generally of the highest quality. This was the mirrors I put on my 2019 electric fat tire mountain bike, and they performed as well as or better than my mirrors on my $50k Harley Davidson. Although I'm not one to often rave, especially when discussing bike mirrors, when I'm looking for something specifically and it exceeds my expectations, I think the seller deserves the 5 star feedback and sells them like hotcakes. For each side of my bed, I bought two.

This is the best bar in town A mirror I found at the end
4/5

Since I've had my bicycle for half a decade now, I've tried half a dozen other handlebar mounted mirrors and Hafny is still the best. The screen has a decent field of view, its fairly adjustable, it emits good images (either in glass or stainless steel), and it stays out of the way because it is compact. Several other mirrors had one or more of the following they protruded too far, they had an awkward field of view, or barely reflected enough light to be useful, or they did not adjust well. In terms of durability, the "automotive grade" glass on the Hafny is quite tough and capable of handling If you are going to use the stainless version a lot, it is even better. This product loses half a star because the rest of the plastic structure is not as durable as the plastic. A seam (almost invisible) in the outer ring serves as a break point in the event of an impact. Due to its location at the outer end of the handlebar, the mirror has an obvious vulnerability to absorbing impact in a fall. There is nothing more frustrating than when something If you glue or tape it temporarily, it's hard to restore the flimsy pieces. Although it can't be expected to do much more for the price, a better degrading would have been nice It would be better if a metal ring bent or dented rather than split, so it could temporarily be restored. This could have been avoided if the glass was designed to be attached at the center (which is more protected) rather than by a thin You should note that the mirror's durability is very similar to that of most other mirror products. While the field of view is decent and the ball is moving as it should, However, even though the joint adjusts to an extent (not quite 360°), I often find myself twisting it to the limit just to get the proper angle and wish I could turn it inwards or upwards another five or ten degrees. Unlike a gooseneck mount, this mount is flexible, yet not as flexible as that of There is probably the need for a second ball joint to allow for fine adjustments. However, this is still a better mirror than any other I have tried since the angles work at least 95% of the time, and it holds up well in bumpy conditions, as well as remaining adjustable by hand even when the screw is fully tightened. The anti-virus software I use recently has been upgraded to the latest version The Hafny stainless steel mirror bracket broke irreparably (after the previous version was irreparably damaged). In opposition to When the light is bright, the glare glass is very effective, but the image is a bit bluer and slightly darker. Most people do not notice much of a difference in dark surroundings, and the anti-UV devices won't do much to protect their eyes If you ride a lot at night or your eyesight requires a brighter image, you may want to consider a glass or stainless steel mirror instead of removing the mirror to avoid glare.

I'm happy with how it turned out
5/5

With respect to the mirror I use on my road bike, I am using a sprintech drop bar mirror which is significantly smaller than this Hafny (and I have not had any complaints about it). Since I got a new / second road bike, I tried out the large Hafny bar end mirror and it seemed to work better than I The only thing I would really change is the mirror. I live on mountain roads which are narrow, hilly, and twisty, so looking back is sometimes not the best option. * * * I love the opportunity to adjust and then tighten with the allen key to secure the mirror. Although this is a larger view mirror, I leave it a little loose to allow for adjustments when mounting it. Also, I'll bump into objects when off my bike. Even though this is a larger mirror, it's not overly On my bike, my knees never come close to hitting the mirror at any turn radius. The larger mirror makes it easier to view cars from behind than the smaller spintech on my other road bike. With that said, I still find myself changing angles here and there on longer rides as my posture changes. Upon receipt of my order, I was surprised to find the lenses were tinted blue, which I was unaware of when I placed my order. When wearing tint and sunglasses it is difficult to see cars in bright sunlight, even in the brightest of days. As soon as it's overcast or dark out, you'll lose the view much faster than if the lens was untinted. It is nicer to have a blue tinted lens, it matches the blue accents on my bike and I prefer it over the non-tinted lens in the winter when the days are shorter and there is less sunlight. In the winter when I am trekking I prefer the mountain bicycle.

Riddles with mirrors
3/5

The mirror is nice, and I like the mounting, but it appears to riddle no matter how tight I clamp This has got to stop!
I just can not ride with them! Please let me know how I can help? The following is an updated version I was sent a replacement mirror by Hafy and it works fine. We will no longer riddle. In my opinion, it should receive a 5-star rating but I'm leaving it at 1 in order to make it more likely for someone who is having the same problem to read my.
