My husband has been riding with loose shorts with a built-in chamois and has been very happy with them, but my brother uses chamois 'undies' and highly recommends them for greater versatility. After reading MANY reviews on various brands (one in particular was hysterical about tangling and riding up - a lot of fun! ) These were the ones I went with. My husband is a 38-year-old man with a 38-year-old mother. I bought him an XXXL after carefully reading reviews about sizing. He has a 40 waist and a large middle. They were comfortable for him, and they didn't ride up or down when he walked. He is overjoyed with them because he can now ride in any pair of shorts he owns. We usually go about 15 miles - it's not as cushioned as some, but it's fine for casual cyclists. He said he'd prefer a sturdier chamois for rides longer than 20 miles, but he's satisfied with the new underwear.
These shorts are excellent value for money. Well- conceived and built Because I've only used it a few times, I can't comment on its durability. br>The stitching is quite good - Nothing irritates your skin, so it's even and smooth. The fabric appears to be fairly effective at wicking away moisture. A good elastic material is used in the waistband. Graphics and labels appear to be of good quality - It is not excessively large or obnoxious. The graphics on the majority of products in this price range are extremely large, cheesy, and unappealing. The low-key style appeals to me. Labels and stickers for keys. br>I did think they were a little big; I'm a solid Medium, but they seemed a little loose. Also, I believe the elastic around the legs could be stretched and gripped a little better. Those are minor quibbles, however. I gave it five stars because the customer service is fantastic.
The padding is adequate for a 50-mile journey. For a shorter ride, I recommend these shorts, but for a longer ride, you might want to invest in something a little more cushioned. However, I strongly advise you to purchase these shorts.
I ordered a size up from my usual and it fits perfectly. Fit well. It is very easy to clean. Unfortunately, it has not provided the level of comfort that I am looking for, but it is more than likely that the issue is with me rather than with the product.
I spent a lot of time looking for the right bike shorts, and after reading all of the reviews, I decided to buy them. I'm overjoyed with how they turned out. I'm glad I got two!.
Not too thick, which is good for me because thicker pads irritate my skin and cause chaffing. I'll be purchasing more.
These are extremely comfy. I placed an order for another pair right away. The fit and comfort are far superior to any of my other name brands. When padding isn't needed, it's barely noticeable. Everything stays in place thanks to the long leg and high waist of the liner. The XXL fits me perfectly at 6'3" and 210 pounds.
These are worn under a pair of loose-fitting bike shorts. They're longer than most padded shorts I've tried and provide compression in addition to padding, which I appreciate.
