I've gained weight as I've gotten older, which makes sitting in a bike seat for long rides a little uncomfortable (i. e. e agonizing). Bike shorts with gel padding help with this, and the Baleaf shorts I purchased have worked perfectly for me. Because I wanted them to be comfortable, I purchased a larger pair than I normally would. They have a lot of stretch and are very comfortable to wear. Their padding was as good as any I've worn before, and the pants themselves are made of a thinner, lighter material than I've worn before, but that's fine in our southern heat. The leg cuffs' sticky border didn't seem to grip as well as other pants I've owned, but that could be because I ordered a size larger than usual. The pants are generally appealing to me. Because of the low price, I purchased two pairs.
I own several pairs of Baleaf shirts and shorts and have been very pleased with them; however, this was my first pair of cycling underwear and I was disappointed with the comfort. I'm in my 70s and ride 10 to 15 miles almost every day. To be fair, I wore these three times (same time of day, same route), and I was getting quite uncomfortable about halfway through each ride. I'm not sure if it's the fabric or the padding placement, but I'm sticking with my off-the-shoulder style. brand pairs that 20% were less expensive were 20% expensive were 20% expensive were 20%.
I bought these shorts to see if they would help with my sit bone issues. The shorts fit well and are of good quality, but the padding on the sit bones isn't quite wide enough. I returned the shorts and replaced them with a pair of Baleaf 4D padded shorts that fit me perfectly (www. amazon. com/gp/product/B087GFPX3F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title com/gp/product/B087GFPX3F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title com/gp/product/B UTF8 ie=UTF8 ie=UTF8 ie= If you're having trouble, try psc=1. I'm still giving these shorts five stars because the padding isn't their fault, and they're otherwise great shorts.
These are a big hit with my husband. We've previously paid between $50 and $60 for these bike shorts, and he claims they're the most comfortable he's ever worn. He does wear a pair of lightweight shorts over them, primarily for modesty, and we will be purchasing more in the future.
The product is well-made, with plenty of space in the seat and thighs. It's very relaxing. During a long ride, the new iPhone 12 max pro stays put in the thigh pockets (with the help of a tacky case). I've only ridden 60 miles in these shorts, but they appear to be well-made and comfortable. I do some road riding, but my primary mode of transportation is gravel. When you need multiple shorts for your daily rides, this is a great price point. br>br>I have an athletic build and wear a 30 to 32 waist pant. The medium was very comfortable for me. I probably could have gone smaller, but because of my curves and muscle, I went with the medium. It's an excellent match.
I was blown away by how well these shorts performed. The padding was excellent, and there was a little more space for your "stuff. " The only drawback is that the legs tend to creep up after a while, but I still like them as much as my more expensive pair. I was able to complete my usual 20-mile ride in comfort.
I bought a few different $20 cycling liner shorts to see which ones I liked the best and then bought a few more. This one came out on top. The padding isn't so thick that you feel like you're walking around in a diaper, but it's just enough to keep you comfortable for a few hours in the saddle. The length is just right so you don't look like a 90's basketball player, and the leg openings are wide enough to keep your legs from riding up. This book comes highly recommended.
This is the second time I've bought a pair of bike shorts. The first pair was incredible in terms of how comfortable they made the ride; this pair has slightly more padding, and the silicon leg gripper at the bottom hem kept them in place without moving.
