My only criticism was that the socks were a little heavier than expected for the thickness. I would have given 5 stars if they didn't have that thickness. pair that is a lighter weight to wear around the house, and these seem to be a nice medium to heavy It has a very nice quality, though, and will be great for outdoor use.

I have purchased Smartwool socks before and have They started to split when the toe seams were worn for the first time. In the event that they are indeed Smartwool, the quality control at this particular plant is just awful. The recommendation is not to use.

These socks fit feet up to a size 14, so you'll look like a skinny 10 year old with skinny legs. This is the size 10 I wear. It is so tight around my calf, they cut off the circulation. I am 5 feet tall and average weight. I wonder if they are from a defective batch since they are so absurdly out of proportion. These socks are not as comfortable as other Smartwool socks that I have in size large. They will be returned to you.

The other day, I lived in Vermont during a huge blizzard that dumped several feet of snow on our town. My wife and I had to walk downtown for work because we couldn't drive. We were wet, cold and freezing. Choosing to get some dry socks from the local store before heading into our jobs, we decided to go down to Main Street. The switch to SmartWool began after we found some on sale and decided to go for it. My current possession includes several different thicknesses. Depending on the weather, I can choose the one I prefer. It's great for the sub-floor if they're really thick A zero degree day and a lighter one will keep the mess down during the winter.

There are no loose socks and the socks are not easy to slip I think these socks are not good for the elderly, but they are okay for younger.

In addition to lasting forever, the shoes fit my gigantic (14 4E) feet, etc. What do you not like about them? Plus, they don't itch either.

These are for my 6-foot-3" tall son. He is a big kid who needs to be protected. There were different brands he tried, but he could not find the perfect sock. This brand is my go-to for all my outdoor adventures, so I wanted to find him a pair to try as well. His favorite was these and he asked me to buy more for him. Besides keeping his feet dry and stink-free, these give him a lot of support for the entire day at school, PE class, and walking.
