If you're on the line, it runs a little small, but it's still a great coat. It is a little on the small side. I would recommend sizing up if you are typically on the larger end of the size "range" or wear bulky sweaters. That's pretty typical of HH. It's been in the teens for weeks, so I'll be able to wear this with a t-shirt. Wear a comfortable shirt. In 20 minutes, with a snow blower, 15° F, and a Tshirt on, I was sweating. The chest vents were perfectly functional.
It has a nice appearance and appears to be made of durable fabric on the outside. I'm guessing I'm becoming more sensitive to the cold. I had previously ordered two other parkas, both of which appeared to provide the same level of warmth. The first was an $80 Walmart parka with polyester lining, and the second was a down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down-filled down L. has a $180 parka that is filled. Bean. I've got a ten-year-old son. year- Helly, the old man- A shorter and equally warm Hansen ski parka. It had a cheap plastic zipper, but the rest of the product was of excellent quality. br>br>I paid $300 for this parka, and despite the significant price difference, I'm not sure I notice much of a difference in warmth between the three.
The fit is true to size; I'm 6'4" and ordered an XL, which gives me enough room to layer underneath. This is a very warm jacket. To be honest, I live in Texas. But, even though it's around 30 degrees outside, I'm not cold. It may not breathe well, and I can easily overheat in temperatures of around 40 degrees. However, when you're in a 10-person group, it may be easier to breathe. The temperature is 20 degrees. It's possible to take the hood off.
The arm pit is a little tight. This jacket is fantastic.
Jacket is very nice.
During the second winter, Zipper broke down. We bought the jacket on December 1st, 2019br>br>Update to the previous review. I gave two stars for customer service because I returned a damaged jacket to a local HH store, and they offered me a new equivalent jacket without asking any questions.
