I've only had it for a few days, but it has definitely blocked the wind. In terms of waterproofing, I've only walked a few miles in one of our more foggy, misty, slightly raining funks. So far, it hasn't been worn in a thunderstorm or monsoon.
There aren't any pockets on the inside.
It's very warm; I bought it for a trip to the mountains where I didn't need many layers; all I needed was an undershirt, a thin sweater, and this jacket. It protects you from severe weather, such as snow or strong winds.
This outfit was worn during my December 2019 trip to New York City. I took a ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty island in the midst of a strong wind and cold temperature, and I didn't feel the cold for the entire two weeks I was there. The jacket is very nice.

This is one of the most comfortable winter coats I've ever had. I live in Minnesota, where the winters are bitterly cold, and this coat has kept me toasty on even the coldest days. The coat is very sleek and stylish, and it isn't too bulky or puffy for my taste. The waterproof feature is also functional, which is ideal for use in the snow.
In the photograph, it appears to be more appealing - The style, the hoodie, and the texture did not appeal to me - It was also excessively large. For a LARGE parka, the forearms are far too small in diameter. Arms can't be bent without causing the coat to become too tight. For those who aren't satisfied with just the words "warm. " With only a t-shirt underneath, I've worn this jacket in 15°F windy weather. I had not lost any heat! You can unzip the fur portion of the hood. The jacket has plastic zippers that can be a pain to use at times, but that is to be expected with plastic zippers. I've also been in the rain and snow with no problems.
