The figure of this outdry ex jacket is slightly tighter than that of a standard M. With your height and weight, I would recommend sizing up to a L rather than a M. Best of luck!

What's the name of the waterproofing coating? pvc? tpu? thanks?

I'm not sure what the coating is made of, but it works great and the two layers make it very comfortable.

This is a fantastic rain jacket for those who want to be light on their feet. The jacket's construction is excellent, and it is extremely comfortable to wear. The Out Dry logo on the left sleeve looks a little cheesy, which is my only criticism of the jacket. These were purchased in pairs. I'm a big guy, so a large is perfect for me. However, I also purchased an XL for camping in the cooler months. Under the large coat, I couldn't wear anything thicker than a sweatshirt. br>br>I am 5'11" tall and have a standard build. My chest is 45" as well.

These jackets appeal to you? A large and a medium were obtained. I wish I could have exchanged the medium for a large, but I received it as a Christmas gift, and it was far too long to exchange.
