I had a similar orange color to the picture. All of the slings, webbing, and cord that I have ordered from GM have been excellent.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Many of the slings, chains, daisy chains, etc. are of excellent quality and I have purchased several from GM. Slings that I have have seen so much action that they should should have been retired a long time As far as I can tell, the webbing is not fraying or the stitching is not loosening. As my go-to company, they have become a trusted resource. My trust in the quality of this product is assured.

This one seems to fit that category perfectly. I think the product is of high enough quality to be worth the investment. While it absorbs water like a sponge and gets heavy, it does not seem to be harmful. The situation is not a problem.
