Good quality at a lower price point. This PAS is equal to that of the other brands. Cleaning top rope anchors outdoors has been done a few times using it. A locking caribeaner that comes with it, however, is suspiciously light in weight. This has been my belay a couple times, but it is a little too Would not risk using it without redundancy. Would be a good backup for some applications, but wouldn't use A UIAA rating is provided by GM climbing. Despite the fact that they are Chinese made and cheaper in quality, if you're just getting started in climbing, need to save some money, and want to buy some things you'll use, then you should get some of their supplementary gear. When you have the funds, make sure you upgrade your gear to tried and true products when you need to save your life.
There is a lot of gear from Petzl, DMM, SMC, Black Diamond, Mammot, Climbing Technology, and ISC in my bag. My recommendation is to use it.
The outside rock climbing area I am involved in needs an additional safety chain. I find this one to be a good length and hold my weight with no problem. The stitching looked solid after I reviewed it and there were no defects that I could see. The aesthetically pleasing nature of the chain is not critical, but it does add a little to a safety My purchase of this chain was made at an excellent price, and I would purchase it.
No time yet to test out this section of the rack, but from what I've seen, it looks like a solid piece. A Metolius I purchased said it was rated at 22kN, however when I received it the rating stated it was 14kN and I'm sure it is plenty strong, however if I'm in a tight spot I will take my chances with a higher test strength.
Its carabiner is a terrific value and is as high quality as the anchor. Aside from the purchase of the helmet, I have bought 4 other items from GM Climbing. All of these products were of This company makes gear that is as good as Petzl and Edelrid without charging a high price! I plan to buy more gear from them in the future.
Several tasks are included in this report Generally, the eye hook anchor is well made, and appears to be as strong as one would want it for personal use as an In other words, it's just long enough to get in the way, but not too long.
GM Climbing was a new name to me, but from seeing their Chinese origins, I took notice. A red flag with climbing gear is always the counterfeit quality, which is a red flag in general. I went to the UIAA website and saw that they had active certificates of safety for this product. I'm happy with it.
I plan to use it as a redirect anchor when I'm in a tree canopy. However, it appears that the construction is very versatile and solid.
