Selected User Reviews For PETZL Vertex Vent ANSI Helmet White
For several decades, I've worked as an arborist and tree worker. I've been using the Petzl Vertex for a little over a decade, but their most recent design is by far the best. br>br>The ear straps are long enough that they don't pull on your ear's bottom. The face shield has been repositioned closer to the user's face, allowing less debris to pass through. The shell has been strengthened without adding any additional weight. Overall, I would strongly recommend this helmet for tree work.
The straps around the ear are a little uncomfortable, and I haven't figured out how to make them less so. Aside from that, it attracts a lot of attention and follows the rules.
I was let down. I was under the impression that purchasing a new helmet meant it was brand new. It's new in the sense that it's never been used, but it's from 2014. I had no idea that most companies only allow the use of protective headgear within five years of the product's year of manufacture, so I bought a helmet that I won't be able to use for another four months. I'm starting to think I've been duped.
In hot weather, the vents are extremely useful. Adjustable to ensure a comfortable fit. It is light in weight. I would strongly suggest it. When working in close proximity to active helicopter operations, this is the tool of choice.
ANSI Z89-compliant safety headgear with a great fit. a single standard The visor is a great accessory to have, and it didn't fog up even with a facemask on.
The product is excellent, and it arrived quickly.
Excellent product, especially the vents, which are extremely useful.
For work at a high level, as the name implies. br>I'm a civil engineer, and I bought these to replace my old helmet. br>I have to say that these aren't enough to make the thing. br>br>It fit a little too far away from my head, and it looked strange, so I went with the standard engineer helmet.
