The best helmet of all time

It's great to have a chin strap because it keeps the helmet on my head much better than the cheap ones. It's also very light, comfortable, and vented, which is exactly what I need. The price was well worth it.

For active work, this is an excellent helmet

Excellent helmet with Petzl visor and peltors; I was undecided as to whether the vertex or strato would be the better choice; however, I can say that I love the ventilation and the fact that the vertex has additional rigidity built into the shell, rather than relying on foam and shell for protection. The helmet is well-balanced, and the visor easily clicks in and stays in either open or down position. I'm satisfied with the level of ventilation when working in hot environments and remaining active, such as cutting trees, and I can wash the helmet after a hot day.
