SIROCCO'S ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN: The SIROCCO is only 170 grams in weight.

TESTED TECHNOLOGY: Hybrid construction with an EPP (expanded polypropylene) foam shell and an EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam rigid crown.

PROTECT THE HEAD: A head-covering design offers the best lateral and rear impact protection.

FITS YOU: The adjustable headband and chin strap allow for complete customization. The chin strap can be fastened with the help of a magnetic buckle (a patent by Petzl).

FULLY EQUIPPED: Two hooks and rear elastic for attaching a headlamp, as well as wide holes for excellent ventilation.

As a lightweight helmet, the Sirocco was created specifically for rock climbing. The Vertex and Alveo series are the only helmets in the Petzl line that have ANSI ratings.

Is there a bag included with it?

Mine didn't have a back for storage. I confirmed with Petzl that the bag is no longer included with this helmet.

Make sure you don't throw your money away

If I could, I'd give this a negative five star rating because it's made of the same material as a disposable beer cooler and has the same quality as a $10 girls bicycle helmet from Walmart. It's a complete rip-off.

It is light and comfortable

So far, this is my favorite helmet. It's very light, and the webbing interior makes it very comfortable (other helmets gave me the feeling of being pinched or rubbed on my skull and forehead). The magnetic clasp attracts dirt, which prevents it from snapping shut, so I have to check/dust it before each use, as others have mentioned.

Quick delivery of a nice new Petzl helmet

During the 4th of July holiday, shipping was quicker than expected. The helmet was brand new and in its original packaging when it arrived. The box contained all of the extras. Padding and a carry bag are included in the package. As described, it is very nice.
