Questions & Answers
Hi there! Although this helmet is CE EN 12492 certified, it does not meet the EN 1077 requirements for alpine skiing helmets.
Hey! I believe it has a magnetic clasp, but I'll double-check when I arrive at the warehouse on Monday morning. Thanks!
This is not the case.

I went with the M/L size, which was the largest available. My head is big but not huge, and I wear a hat size 7 1/2. Although the helmet was well-fitting, it was a little too high on my head. I have no confidence in this helmet's ability to protect against front, rear, or size impacts. I was able to pull the front down far enough to protect my brow (i. e. removing the large gap between the helmet and my googles), but the back was uncomfortable at that angle. Under any amount of use, I'm confident the helmet would have slid back. The sides of the building were exposed to the elements. br>br>This is marketed as a ski tour helmet by Petzel. As far as I'm concerned, I'd never put my trust in it. It did have enough protection on top, similar to a climbing helmet, which I noticed.
It also fits comfortably. I also use it for kayaking, and it's great!.
The color is fantastic.
