The load tests have been carried out. Five carabiners were put to the test, and their breaking points were as follows: 941 1066, 7 kg 1013, 0 kg 966 g (4 kg) 6 kg, with a weight of 920 grams. 2 029 grams (6 kg) 58- 2,350. 13 kilos). Despite their small size and light weight, they are made of solid aluminum and are surprisingly strong.
They are, in fact. 304 stainless steel is used to make the wire gates. – As a result, all parts are corrosion-resistant.
Yes, I'd use these to store my kayak and gear. I sleep in a hammock that I sling with these carabiners, and I'm four times your kayak's weight.
It would be a perfect fit on the carabiner's larger end, which is 1 inch wide, and the narrow end, depending on how you measure it, is roughly half that.

This carabiner has served me well in a variety of situations. It's a versatile clip that can be used on backpacks and duffle bags. It's also helped me keep melons off the ground in the garden. But I think clipping it to my belt so I can carry a water bottle on short hikes is my favorite application. It has a strong, light feel to it, and the gate swings freely. Much better construction than some of the super-cheap hollow ones. This appears to be capable of supporting a substantial load. Good buy! I'm pretty sure I'll get a couple more.
I was sceptical after reading one. So far, everything has worked out beautifully. I had my doubts after reading a one-star review that included a photo of one of these bending. (If used incorrectly, the ENO manufactured clips that come with the hammock bend as well. ) We weighed in at 335 pounds as a group. We were swinging from the carabiners in that hammock.
I needed a strong way to secure my bow to my pack, and I believe these D-rings are perfect for the job. Loops will do the job perfectly. They feel really well built right out of the bag, and when I gave them a good tug, there was no give at all, which I wouldn't expect given their rating. The gates are extremely sturdy, with a satisfying resistance and snap. I was very pleased with what I got for the price. For the time being, I'm giving these five stars because of what I plan to do with them. I don't anticipate any issues, but I'll keep you updated if any arise.
It must be "plugged in" in order for it to function. The carabiners are excellent, especially for the price. They're light and strong, and they easily clipped onto my chandelier. They didn't stay there, but it was the closest I could get to clipping them to something. I was planning on using these to close a gate in my back yard fence, but they're a little too thin up top for that. However, I needed upgraded clips for my hammock, and these appear to be the perfect fit.
In the last ten years, I've purchased these twice. The two-pack lasts a long time; the most recent purchase was in mid-2019. I work in retail and use them to keep track of my keys. These bad boys have been on and off countless times a day for five days in a row and are still going strong. One is brand new, while the other is in good condition but has some paint chips. br>br>I can't speak to how they work for anything heavy-duty, but I was tired of the cheap clips breaking after a few weeks (it was always the spring that closed it back) and grabbed these guys; I love them, and have been recommending them to coworkers whenever they mention key clips.
We use carabiners instead of traditional hooks for weightlifting because they are much easier to use. br>Because we do a lot of band training in garage gyms, they're easy to hook up bands and don't leave any snag marks like original hooks. br>We also use daisy chains, and these fit perfectly through them, with the added benefit of not snagging on anything.
I suppose it's difficult to get excited about carabiners, but they're really great. Lightweight, simple to use, and capable of carrying a large load. These are what I use to attach foam rafts to anchor lines at our cabins so that we can easily combine, move, and remove them as needed. The wire gate is ten times easier to operate than a standard round gate, especially when your hands are wet. And because it's made entirely of aluminum, there's no risk of corrosion. I've just placed an additional order!.
At work, I used this carabiner as a key ring to keep track of over 40 keys. Because of the work environment, I am very pleased with how well it has held up to being used by myself and coworkers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The paint/color eventually faded, but it stood the test of time. br>br>However, because the Fusion Contiga's carabiner has a straighter, thicker gate, I still prefer it to the Rallt's. Because of the hook and thinness of the gate, the Rallt's gate mechanism is a little inconvenient. The Fusion Contiga is much smoother to use, but it is more expensive than Rallt.
